From the age of 5, Kirk Miller had a passion for sports and had aspirations of playing professional soccer.

By the time he was 16 years old, he had begun to pursue his love of soccer professionally by joining Coventry City Soccer Club as a young professional apprentice.

However, his fantasy did not come true. He suffered recurrent injuries that hampered his development throughout his time with Coventry City. Kirk Miller was consequently fired from the club after completing a three-year apprenticeship.

He was thus compelled to pursue a career in fields other than soccer. Kirk then decided to retrain to become a plumber. For almost 5 years, he continued to work in the trade.

During this period, Kirk lost interest in his life and began to regularly drink and eat poorly. He was looking for a new beginning when he rediscovers his passion for fitness.

Kirk turned to become a fitness model after competing in a cover model search for a well-known fitness publication.

He quickly won the competition, giving him a base from which to continue making progress. His desire to serve people eventually led him to become a personal trainer.

Biography

Finding a Love for Fitness at a Young Age

Kirk developed a love of fitness at a young age and had an ambition of playing soccer professionally since he was five years old. Kirk played soccer every day of his high school career.

The sport was the center of his life, and he wanted to make it more.

Kirk had the most potential in soccer, where he established himself as a competitive player. Kirk built on this shortly after graduating from high school by beginning a three-year apprenticeship as a young professional at Coventry City Soccer Club.

During this period, Kirk started lifting weights to develop lean muscle mass. This served as an addition to his soccer playing, enabling him to continuously improve his physique.

Kirk, though, fell short of his potential. After his apprenticeship, he was fired from the club for not passing.

Injury setbacks during his stay at the club prevented him from progressing. Kirk was unable to fulfill his dream of playing professional soccer as a result of this.

Deciding Which Direction to Go

After having little luck at soccer, Kirk had to make a significant choice. At this point, Kirk had retrained at the age of 19, this time to become a plumber.

Kirk was able to develop a career outside of soccer as a result.

He had the opportunity to earn a good living by becoming a plumber because it was a trade where he would always have employment. Kirk, however, lost hope in his life after five years of working in the profession.

Kirk indulged in weekend binges of drinking and eating when he was working as a plumber. This quickly started to negatively affect Kirk’s life, and he realized that this wasn’t how he wanted to live.

With his current job, Kirk felt dissatisfied. As a result, he looked for a fresh challenge that would enable him to reignite his passion for sports. Kirk soon concluded that he wanted to be a fitness model.

Getting Into Shape and Competing

Kirk contacted a close buddy who was employed in the modeling business. They gave Kirk tips on how to become a fitness model, giving him the chance to start a career doing what he enjoyed.

As soon as Kirk acted on his friend’s advice, his motivation increased. At this point, Kirk joined a contest to be the face of a popular men’s fitness publication.

His ultimate goal was to make a life through fitness, and taking part in this competition gave him the opportunity.

He quickly took the first position in the tournament, which gave him the confidence to keep going.

Kirk was now able to support himself through exercise.

Kirk was offered the chance to improve his life by getting back into shape. Just when Kirk believed it was too late to transform his passion for fitness into a career, he discovered success as a fitness model at this point.

Kirk wants to help people train in the gym to the fullest extent possible after achieving his personal fitness goals. He had the opportunity to do so by starting his training firm.

Kirk maintains a diet that enables him to accomplish his physical objectives. He mostly consumes clean foods to maintain his leanness and provide good fuel for his activities.

Kirk will occasionally treat himself to a cheat meal, though. This provides Kirk more motivation to keep his lean figure by working out more diligently. The following is what Kirk says about his dietary preferences:

“I typically eat ‘clean’ for about 80–90% of the week and then, within reason, eat whatever I want the other days. When I’m eating well, I only consume whole foods, raw vegetables, and organic produce wherever possible.

However, I enjoy eating, so when I turn off my diet mode, I eat whatever I want within reason. This has me in keeping my motivation and balance during my years of training.

Influences and Idols

When Kirk started his fitness adventure, Gregg Plitt served as his inspiration. Kirk worked diligently and resolutely in the gym to try to replicate Gregg Plitt’s physique. Kirk said this about Gregg’s influence:

“Gregg Plitt was a huge inspiration to me when I initially entered the industry. He has positively affected thousands of individuals all across the world, and you can’t help but admire him for that.

He also started working out in the gym with Richard Gozdecki. Kirk was permitted to keep moving forward and attain his full potential by Richard. Kirk recalled Richard’s contribution to his education and said:

“Up until I spent an entire week training with Richard Gozdecki, I always thought I trained quite hard anyhow.

He helped me understand what true intensity and effort in a workout meant. I was severely damaged both physically and mentally by the conclusion of the week.

Why Kirk Miller Is a Good Teacher?

Soon after graduating from high school, Kirk Miller started the process of pursuing his ambition.

To become a professional soccer player, he began his apprenticeship at Coventry City Soccer Club. But when he was let go from the club, things didn’t turn out as he had hoped.

As a result, he decided to become a plumber to support himself. Kirk continued to work in the field for almost 5 years while leading a bad lifestyle that included binge drinking and eating bad cuisine on the weekends.

However, he quickly lost hope in his life. At this moment, Kirk Miller started to pursue his passion for fitness once more, enabling him to assist others in achieving their fitness objectives when he established his training company.

What we can take from Kirk is that once you reach a certain age, you could believe it’s too late to change your job. But Kirk showed that, if you put your all into it, you can pursue your dreams in life no matter your age.
