Tyran Moore, star of Growing Up Hip Hop, is not a fan of rap music like his parents Tyran “Tah Tah” Moore and Sandra “Pepa” Denton of Salt N’ Pepa. In contrast to entertainment, he appears more interested in martial arts. The television personality also runs a business.

Despite having the same name as his father, there are rumors that Tyran Moore Jr. once had a strained relationship with both his mother and father. Recently, though, it’s been thought that he is happier with his parents.

While he focuses on his martial arts career, he appears in Growing Up Hip Hop with his mother and half-sister Egypt Criss.

Who is Tyran Moore?

Moore Jr., the son of Tyran “Tah Tah” Moore (Barry Riddick) and his ex-girlfriend Sandra “Pepa” Denton, was reportedly born in 1990.

His mother was so in love with his father at the time of his conception that she couldn’t wait to tell him the good news. His father, however, did not share that sentiment.

According to Pepa, she named her son after his father to exact revenge on the child’s first mother. Tah Tah Moore had fathered another child at the time she became pregnant, so to strengthen the bond between her son and his father, she had to also give him the name Tyran.

According to rumors, Pepa forced Moore Sr. to get married after she became pregnant. However, the rapper decided to break up with her at that point and stopped returning her calls. Later, he would admit that he desired the breakup so he could move on to the other woman.

Pepa became so obsessed with getting him back after they split up that she did everything in her power to achieve this. When he was shot, she kept after him, but when she went to see him, he turned her away.

Tyran Moore is alleged to have been born in 1990, making his age around 32.

Martial Arts Enthusiast Tyran Moore

Tyran developed a strong interest in martial arts as he grew up, and at the age of two, he enrolled in classes. He received instruction in a variety of martial arts, including Shaolin Kung Fu, Taekwondo, and Ninjitsu.

Additionally, he spent more than eight years training for the Wing Chun Kali System. Before eventually opening his own Wing Chun school, he later began his martial arts teaching career.

On social media, he has posted several videos of himself practicing martial arts.

At the Age of 13, His Father Was Arrested and Imprisoned.

According to reports, Tah Tah belonged to the Supreme Team, a street gang from South Jamaica, Queens. He was connected to Murder Inc. and Irv Gotti.

He was detained a few times in connection with homicides and was found guilty of drug offenses. He was a suspect in Jam Master Jay’s murder in 2002 after his prints were discovered on a car in the vicinity of the crime.

Additionally, when he held a woman, her child, and his nephew hostage in Brooklyn in 2003, he is said to have been involved in a standoff with the police. He was taken to jail after the police were able to control the situation. Although it was later discovered he was not involved, he was detained and interrogated because he had been in the area the night of the shooting. He was subsequently charged only with gun possession.

In addition, 50 Cent has charged Tah Tah with involvement in the shooting that came dangerously close to taking his life in 2002.
