Short Career of Leeci Knight

The majority of Leeci Knight’s childhood was spent playing outside and being active. “I was never a fat girl growing up, I was quite active and always outside,” she said.

However, in 2012, as a result of several changes in her life, including returning to Pennsylvania from her beloved Oregon state, Leeci developed bad behaviors and a vicious cycle of melancholy. Some of these practices included abusing alcohol and engaging in excessive junk food consumption.

Leeci eventually started to feel bad about her unhealthy way of life and decided it was time to change. Leeci never looked back after receiving her gym membership; she has since changed her appearance and lifestyle into a real model of success and good health.

“I normally don’t like training legs on the smith machine. I feel like for squats it takes away a lot of the stability, but I incorporate it for certain lifts since some of the gyms I go to are very small and limited in equipment so I have to improvise. “

In the end, Leeci discovered that lifting weights five times a week for about an hour each training session was the most effective in increasing her muscle mass and reducing her body fat.

In terms of training volume and intensity, Leeci strives to perform 8–12 repetitions of the heaviest weight she is capable of lifting while adhering to strict form.

Cardio Exercise

In addition to her five days a week of weightlifting, Leeci also works in two to three cardio sessions on those days.

Sprinting (HIIT), kettlebell swinging, and marathon running are her preferred cardio exercises.

Leeci enjoys working out her legs and glutes because they are her favorite body parts;

  • Barbell Hip Thrusts, 3 sets of 8-12 reps

Although Leeci Knight understands the value of appropriate and consistent weight training, she asserts that the nutritional component of fitness is just as vital, if not more so.

Her diet consists of lean meats, healthy oils, almonds, and vegetables high in fiber, protein, and micronutrients like kale, swiss chard, and watercress.

Leeci eats quinoa, oats, brown rice, and sweet potatoes for carbs.

Cheating Food

Although Leeci doesn’t indulge in cheat meals frequently, she does occasionally treat herself to a burger or a pizza as a reward for her diligence.
