If you enjoy both mushrooms and garlic, try this pasta dish called “Mushroom Campanelle”! Over campanelle pasta, fresh sautéed mushrooms are topped with a creamy white wine sauce! For those of you mushroom fans out there, it’s a brand-new savory favorite!

Of course, any type of pasta can be topped with this sauce, but I prefer the way Campanella encloses the sauce in its folds.

Sometimes the family simply prefers pasta recipes that are a little different and not tomato-based, such as spaghetti carbonara. I’m here to inform you that this recipe also hits it out of the park in terms of flavor!

Pasta recipes like pasta primavera and baked lemon butter salmon pasta provide something a little different from the norm, and you can now include this mushroom campanelle in your pasta menu!

Describe Campanelle.

A cone-shaped pasta is known as a campanile with ruffled edges (aka Gigli). Although it means “small bells” in the literal sense, these delectable little pasta bits make me think of a flower or maybe a bugle. The curl in these campanelle noodles holds the sauce for a flawless dish, making them suitable for dishes with unique sauces or strange meats.

Making The Ideal Creamy Mushroom Sauce

It’s very simple to make a fantastic creamy mushroom sauce. While any type of mushroom can be used in this recipe, I prefer brown or cremini.

Although portobello mushrooms are savory and delicious, they tend to turn the sauce murky in a hue.

Rehydrate dried mushrooms in boiling water if used. The liquid should be set aside, filtered through coffee, and allowed to simmer. This gives the sauce a wonderful flavor when you add it!

  1. Sauté garlic and mushrooms in olive oil.
  2. Add wine, let it decrease, then stir in the cream.
  3. Cheeses and lemon zest are added after the heat is turned off.

Cook pasta, then combine with pasta sauce as it bubbles away. If desired, top with additional parmesan and parsley.

Serving Suggestions for Campanelle of Mushrooms

Finding the ideal food to go with pasta dishes is so easy because there are so many mouthwatering choices. This dish is a fantastic meatless choice for vegetarians.

  • Try it with grilled chicken, baked chicken breast, or chicken from a rotisserie.
  • a fantastic loaf of french bread or rolls, like all pasta meals.
  • Italian salad or a fresh, straightforward tossed salad.
