The quickest method to have a quick lunch on the table is with air-fried hamburgers!
In the Air Fryer, juicy hamburgers, cheeseburgers, or sliders mean less mess and more flavor.
Basic all-beef patties
Homemade Air Fryer hamburger patties cannot be cooked in a pan. With just a little bit more cooking time, even frozen patties come out delicious!
BEEF We like to use fresh ground beef, just like in our go-to hamburger recipe. The ideal amount of fat in an 80/20 blend keeps the patties moist without letting too much grease run off. For turkey burgers, try using ground turkey!
SEASONING Add a pinch of onion and garlic powder along with the salt and pepper. In this dish, since fresh onion and garlic don’t have enough time to cook, we use powders instead. Alternatively, try our famous Hamburger Seasoning!
Although BBQ SAUCE is not required, it enhances caramelization and tastes wonderful. We choose barbecue sauce created from scratch.
How to Cook Hamburgers in the Air?
Making hamburgers in an air fryer is incredibly simple and quick!
All the ingredients should be combined before creating 4 equal-sized patties.
Place the prepared hamburger patties in the Air Fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 9 to 12 minutes, depending on the thickness, using the formula below.
If adding cheese, do it now and simmer for one more minute before dishing.
Toppings
Place lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and pickles on a serving tray to create a DIY burger bar where anyone can assist themselves.
- Chipotle aioli, homemade garlic aioli, sauerkraut, jalapenos, and green chilies are all spicy.
- Savory: Sautéed or air-fried mushrooms, bacon, roasted red bell peppers, fried eggs (very wonderful!).
How to Make the Best Hamburger Patties?
- To keep the burgers moist, use meat that has a little bit of fat (80/20).
- Check the thickest portion of a burger with a meat thermometer (160°F).
- Check your burgers early to make sure they don’t overcook because appliances can differ.
- You may use the air fryer to cook frozen hamburger patties, but you’ll need to add an extra 5 minutes.
- With parchment paper in between each patty, the hamburgers can be frozen. They can be frozen for about a month.
