Biography

Short Career of Marie Wold Marie Wold

Marie Wold, who was born and reared in Minnesota, was a shy kid growing up.

When she was just eight years old, she remembers making fun of her figure. In Marie’s own words, “At eight years old, I remember loathing how I looked in a bikini. Eight.”

As Marie progressed, this self-doubt only deepened. Over time, she started forming new opinions about what she considered to be “the right physical look.”

Marie started imitating her role models after comparing herself to fashion models on the internet and on television. She started eating more sparingly and exercising more vigorously.

Marie’s fixation with her self-image grew by the time she began high school. She started going to extremes with her diet and training at this point to get the “ideal” physique.

“I desired to have thighs that were smaller than those of the (adolescent) lads in my grade. Those goals necessitated a size reduction.

I consequently shrunk. I consumed far less food. Only thinking about how many calories I burnt each day, I exercised far more. (Marie Wold)

Inspiration To ObsessionMarie Wold

Marie’s relatives and acquaintances started noting physical changes in her. Although Marie initially viewed this as encouragement and a sign of advancement, it eventually developed into an unhealthy fixation.

I enjoyed the attention, but eventually, I went too far, she admitted. I cut out all ‘unclean’ meals, overdid the cardio (slim down’ my athletic legs), and isolated myself from any situations that offered temptation. In other words, I became a hermit.

Marie’s severe lifestyle eventually caught up with her. The weird thing is, the baggier my clothes became and the lower the scale went, the less I liked myself, she said, sounding dejected and bewildered.

Adapting The Strategy

Marie understood she had to take action to make things better. She decided to modify her exercise and eating habits to achieve this.

She allowed herself to eat more food and added weight training to her program rather than restricting her diet and engaging in excessive cardio.

It wasn’t easy for Marie at first. She would make modest strides before reverting to her old diet of calorie restriction. But in the end, her tenacity prevailed. She began to appear and feel better than ever.

As the years passed, Marie grew to appreciate her new way of life, which included weightlifting and a nutritious diet. I started to love those workouts, and occasionally I looked forward to them more than the actual practice, the woman stated.

Marie was eventually able to entirely transform her life. She had developed a completely new perspective in place of her old, bad habits. Marie’s body soon began to mirror her improved outlook; she appeared more fit and healthy than ever.

In her senior year of high school, Marie came into an online forum for fitness enthusiasts. She first encountered bikini contestants and fitness models at this location.

Marie decided to compete in fitness because she was motivated by their physiques.

“I always wanted to compete in a bikini competition after that, but I knew I wouldn’t be ready for it for a few years,” she added. Nevertheless, with competition constantly at the back of my mind, I began weightlifting and studying nutrition in my spare time.

Following several years of resolute effort with her diet and exercise regimen, Marie molded a body fit for the stage. She then competed in her first fitness competition in 2016 and finished in sixteenth place.

Marie was overjoyed by the sensation of being on stage and yearned to have it happen again. A few months later, she seized the chance by competing in the 2016 Universe Championships. She came in 16th position once more on that day.

Constructing A New Career

Marie’s first triumph in fitness occurred three months after the 2016 Universe Championships.

Marie, the victor of the 2016 Minnesota State Championships, improved her posing, muscular definition, and overall size. obtaining the top spot in her category.

Marie took a hiatus from competing after winning. She invested her efforts in developing a full-time profession in fitness instead.

She opened her social media accounts to accomplish this, where she posted images of her development for people all over the world to see.

Marie was able to establish a successful profession in fitness as her social media profiles gained popularity over several months.

Marie’s online presence has expanded faster than she had anticipated in 2017. Since then, Marie has grown to be a significant fitness impact on the internet because of her motivational tale and amazing figure.

Training

Weekly Training With Marie

Five days a week, Marie enjoys working out in the gym. Her full-body strength day is Monday when she performs squats, deadlifts, and bench presses. It resembles powerlifting training in certain ways.

Her other four weekly workouts are a little bit diverse. She will work her muscles harder but with a lighter weight these days.

She might work out her chest and triceps, for instance, with 8–12 repetitions, concentrating mostly on muscular contraction.

Weekends are typically Marie’s time to relax. She uses this time to take a short stroll or engage in another enjoyable activity to allow her body to rest.

To encourage muscular healing, she may engage in some lightweight training or aerobics if she is motivated.

Her glutes are Marie’s favorite body part. She had previously built a strong foundation for her legs and glutes as a former volleyball player. But once she began performing squats and deadlifts, she further enhanced these body components.

Here’s Marie talking about her glutes and legs: “Working out my lower body makes me feel incredibly strong and badass! What woman doesn’t enjoy a good glute pump, too? Hip thrusts, Bulgarian split squats, and resistance band training are some of my favorite glute workouts

Marie thinks that too many people make their exercise and eating far too complicated. According to her, individuals concentrate too much on details and overlook “consistency,” which is crucial for getting outcomes.

It all boils down to heavy lifting and consistency, in her perspective. This is her best recommendation for making long-term fitness progress.

According to Marie, “You will notice benefits if you concentrate on getting your nutrition down pat (eating enough and in the appropriate ratios) and getting stronger (lifting heavy and consistently!).

You can think more about supplementation, nutrient timing, periodization, etc. once you have those things under control.

Nutrition

Periods Of Growth vs. Cutting

Like the majority of athletes, Marie goes through “bulking” and “cutting” periods. She likes the advantages and difficulties that both provide, not one over the other.

During a bulk, Marie eats more and relaxes her cardio regimen. Marie typically relishes this time as she sees her body gaining strength and size.

Marie, on the other hand, relishes the challenge of calorie restriction throughout her cut and the satisfaction of seeing her body get leaner.

Every stage is crucial and ought to be viewed as a chance for progress, as Marie puts it.

Marie often eats a meal one and a half hours before doing out. This gives her body enough time to break down the food she ate and turn it into energy for her muscles.

She typically eats skinless chicken breasts, sweet potatoes, a few vegetables, sea salt, and hot sauce as her pre-workout meal.

She could substitute 1 cup of Greek yogurt with berries, oatmeal, peanut butter, and stevia as her pre-workout breakfast.

Marie ingests a protein shake as her post-workout beverage. She will next consume something similar to her pre-workout meal an hour and a half later.

Cheating Food

While Marie often consumes wholesome, unadulterated foods, she occasionally treats herself to a traditional “cheat meal.” She enjoys eating these things;

  • Pizza with sausage and spinach
  • Pizza with Chicken BBQ
  • Fried sweet potatoes and a burger
  • whipped cream with caramel sauce on a cookie
  • Donuts
  • Cupcake

Influences And Idols

Bret Contreras, also referred to as “The Glute Guy,” is credited by Marie with teaching her a lot about glute training. as Marie has said;

If you are serious about building up your booty, search for Bret Contreras, who taught me a lot about glute conditioning.

“Volleyball helped me develop a lot of discipline in some ways, but fitness showed me that I am solely responsible for my outcomes and destiny. There isn’t anyone else to blame except myself if the result I wanted doesn’t come about.
