Biography

Childhood And The Start Of Your Fitness Journey

Mike Thurston

Mike Thurston was born and raised in Leeds, in the north of England, and has always been passionate about fitness.

He participated in the athletic team and played a variety of sports throughout high school, including rugby, football, and cricket. But his major interest was rugby.

In 2008, when Mike was 18 years old, he developed a passion for weightlifting in the gym. He started working out in the school’s modest gym even then to achieve his objective of building the body of his dreams.

Get Into College

Mike enrolled in the institution toward the end of 2008 to study business administration and economics. He moved away from home and pursued his degree in Newcastle.

Mike decided to give up rugby and concentrate on bodybuilding at this point since he was fully committed to achieving his goal.

Instead, he adopted a bad lifestyle, often consuming booze and junk food since he didn’t think he could be successful in the fitness business.

Spain And Graduating

Despite having a bad diet, three years after starting his adventure, Mike had achieved significant physical improvement. At the age of 21, he decided to advertise pubs and nightclubs in Spain after graduating in 2011.

Mike didn’t improve his poor nutrition during his stay in Spain because his profession revolved around partying. However, he was able to maintain his physique with little effort thanks to his excellent genetics.

Following his summer abroad, Mike decided to look for a job as a promoter in England. By the end of the year, he had relocated back to Newcastle and was working as a store manager.

But Mike quickly got weary of the rigors of his new job because he didn’t like the hours and had to reduce his training. If he wanted to be happy, he understood that he would need to pursue his passion.

Mike decided to pursue a career in the fitness business at the age of 22 in 2012.

Entrepreneur

Mike started his quest to become a coach at the beginning of 2013. He underwent a month of rigorous training before passing the course and earning his certification as a trainer.

Mike took the enormous risk of leaving his managing position at this point. He started shaping his own body while also assisting others in achieving their ideal physiques.

He founded a health and fitness business with two Newcastle pals the same year.

By the time he was 23 years old, Mike had finally found pleasure in pursuing his passion.

Training

Mike switches up his workout routine every four to six weeks to prevent plateauing due to body adaptation. He typically works out for 3 sets of 8–12 reps for the majority of the exercises.
