Fort Lauderdale relocation

When Mindi turned 20, she decided that she needed a change in her life and relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a completely different area. She began working with developers in high-rise residential condominiums there as a real estate broker.

In no time at all, Mindi began marketing and selling one project after another in Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Daytona Beach, and Naples. Mindi was actively interested in modeling and the fitness sector when she was traversing Florida.

Mindi decided to go to California in 2008 to advance her career. She thought it worked out well because she had excellent opportunities for modeling and acting when she was there.

“Once there, I applied to get my real estate license, as I’ve known for a long time. But since I moved to California, I’ve learned about a ton more modeling and acting chances. (Mindi Smith)

How to Compete Professionally?

Mindi’s physique started to alter significantly after a few years of working out at the gym and acquiring more experience, and she claimed that eventually, her passion for fitness overcame everything else. She decided to put all of her attention—and effort—into weightlifting.

Mindi swiftly began her preparations after beginning her investigation into competing. She won her first competition in 2009, and as a result, she automatically qualified for the Nationals.

The event was the NPC Sacramento show, and Mindi mentioned how she realized she wanted to keep competing after winning.

Two weeks after performing at her first show ever, Mindi competed in the 2009 NPC Nationals in Hollywood, Florida, where she once again won first place, gaining a pro card and shocking everyone.

According to Mindi, it was at that time that she understood the industry’s potential for her and was astounded by the number of accomplishments she had made in such a short length of time.

A Champion in Figures

She made her professional debut in 2010 at the IFBB Phoenix Pro. Mindi achieved victory once more, finishing ahead of all of her rivals to take home the trophy and earn a spot in the 2010 Ms. Figure International.

Two weeks later, Mandi competed in the Ms. Figure show, where she finished an outstanding fourth among all female figure competitors worldwide.

A few months later, she competed in her final show of 2010, the 2010 IFBB Europa Super Show, where she finished seventh.

After the contest, Mindi decided to step away from the spotlight and began concentrating on her modeling and acting careers.

She quickly expanded both her training business and her internet following, and she assisted many women all over the world in changing their bodies.

“I am passionate and dedicated to helping others learn and improve on how to get fit along with me,” says the IFBB PRO Figure Competitor, who is also a certified personal trainer, and nutritionist, and has over 10 years of experience in the area.

Training of Mindi Lynn Smith

High-Intensity Exercise

Mandi works out five days per week during the off-season, and up to seven times per week while she’s getting ready for a tournament.

Mindi’s training philosophy is to stick to high reps with light weights and concentrate more on her lower body. She thinks that doing a lot of volume will help her shape her muscles, but it will also prevent her from getting too big.

Any exercise that works the biceps, back, or calves is Mindi’s favorite. She claims that those are the parts of her body that have a lot of muscle development and are fun to work out.

What Mindi Smith can teach us?

Focus and tenacity are the two things we can take away from Mindi. When she left her hometown, she needed to maintain her focus to succeed in both her full-time job and modeling.

According to Mindi, many people give up on their aspirations because they don’t take a chance, give up ultimately, or lose their sense of purpose.

Throughout her entire journey, she was aware of her purpose, and that is what propelled her forward and ultimately led to her success.

Last but not least, Mindi responded as follows when asked where her motivation stems from: My motivation comes from wanting to live healthily and feeling great.

I usually have a goal in mind that I work towards that keeps me focused along the way such as a competition or a photo shoot.

Just knowing that you have a deadline and want to look your absolute best and feel great about yourself is enough to keep you moving forward and towards your goal.“ – Mindi Smith
