Pippa Middleton is the younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton. Both sisters have a similar body frame and hair type. Pippa also has a slim figure. What is the secret of her slimness?
Pippa Middleton and her healthy diet
Pippa Middleton, 38 is just like her elder sister, Kate Middleton, 40. Their body type and hair type are almost similar. Like her sister, the English socialite has probably size six. Like Kate, Pippa too has three children. They are son Arthur, 4, daughter Grace, 19 months and daughter Rose born in June 2022. She lost her post pregnancy weight gain rapidly after every pregnancy.
Pippa eats a balanced diet and also exercises daily. She eats healthily and never skips her breakfast. Breakfast is one of the three major meals of the day. It should be substantial and not overlooked from nutrition point of view. It makes one fuller throughout the day and provides energy for various activities. If it is healthy there are less chances that a person would snack in the daily. Snacking increases risk of weight gain.
Pippa’s breakfast menu
Pippa also has muesli in the day. She says:
“Bircher muesli with fresh berries on top.”
“You can even make a batch for the whole week.”
Bircher muesli is a mix of cereal ingredients especially rolled oats that are soaked in liquid overnight for consumption in the morning at breakfast. The regular muesli is not soaked in liquid overnight. It can be added with milk or roasted. Both types of muesli can have toppings of fresh or dried fruits and nuts.
For Pippa, food is all about balance. She mixes it with sugary treats as well and is not afraid to do so. Once, she wrote in Waitrose magazine:
“I grew up with the belief that good health is about moderation in all things, so I’ll be celebrating healthy living through exercise, a balanced diet and a little of the naughty stuff sprinkled in – I’m talking chocolate, crisps and an occasional glass of wine.”
She never diets. Further, she revealed:
“I’ve never done Dukan, attempted Atkins or exercised religiously seven days a week, but I do believe in making healthy choices – keeping refined carbs such as white bread and pasta to a minimum, and sticking to sensible portion sizes.”
Nutrition experts and doctors globally insist that people should consume whole grains. Swapping refined foods for while grain food items keeps one full and active. It provides fiber and other essential nutrients that are good for gut and bowel health.
Pippa and her exercise regime
Pippa also has an exercise routine that she follows. She attends fitness classes for it. In an interview given to the running shoe brand Hoka One One, she said:
“Being active with my two and a half-year-old son in the park or playground, transporting him on the back of my bike, and buggy running when he was a baby have been ways in which I have been able to include outdoor exercise whilst being a hands-on mummy.”
