We start with vanilla ice cream, but other holiday-themed tastes like eggnog or even peppermint ice cream can be used.

The mixture is thinned with a little milk (or even eggnog) to make it a slurp-able delicacy.

Both crushed peppermint (we use candy canes) and peppermint essence are used to create the peppermint flavor in this recipe. Crushed peppermint used as a garnish elevates the milkshake’s level of deliciousness.

Mint extract vs. peppermint

If you only have mint extract, you’ll probably need to add a little more since peppermint extract is stronger than mint extract.

Simple and Quick Peppermint

Simply combine the ingredients to produce this delicacy, then devour!

  • For the greatest garnish, crush your own sugar canes.
