German professional bodybuilder Ronny Rockel, sometimes known as “The Rock,” competes in the IFBB.
After a protracted struggle to establish himself in the bodybuilding stage, he was finally able to obtain his Pro Card in 2002.
Ronny Rockel experienced a communist upbringing as a child and grew up in challenging conditions. Ronny was therefore unaware of what was going on in other parts of the world.
But everything started to change in 1989 when the Berlin Wall fell. Ronny was inspired by his hero Arnold Schwarzenegger and set out to get a body similar to his.
He eventually achieved success as a bodybuilder and continued to uphold his motto, “If you want something, you do whatever it takes to obtain it.”

Biography
Being A Child
In 1972, Ronny Rockel was born in Germany. Ronny’s upbringing was spent in challenging circumstances under a communist government. As a result, he was unaware that bodybuilding was a sport at the time.
Ronny, though, watched a movie starring bodybuilding great Arnold Schwarzenegger the day the Berlin Wall fell in 1989.
Ronny was impressed by his physique and aspired to have a figure like his.
He resided in a region of Germany at the time, but there were no gyms there. Instead, Ronny decided to create a set of weights from scratch, bringing his fitness journey to life.
Gyms started popping up all over Berlin after the German communist regime was overthrown.
Ronny might start learning more about gaining muscle as a result. Ronny continued to work toward his goal of turning pro after that.
Bodybuilding Career In My Youth
Ronny was determined to make it to the bodybuilding stage after learning more about diet and exercise. In 1994, he participated in his debut competition at the NABBA Hessian Championships.
Ronny, however, came in last position this time. Ronny received a wake-up call as a result, realizing he still had a ways to go.
Despite his setback, he remained unfazed and used his ambition for ongoing development to propel himself onward.
He returned to participate in the 1995 NABBA German National Championships, where he blasted to a first-place finish.
His fortitude and resolve had paid off. Ronny knew that if he gave it his all, he could succeed at this stage.
Soon enough, in 2002, Ronny was able to obtain his Pro Card, marking a significant turning point in his bodybuilding career.
At the WABBA International German Championships, he took first place, demonstrating his inner fortitude to succeed as a bodybuilder.
Professional Competition
Ronny maintained his focus after receiving his Pro Card to advance his career as a bodybuilder. He placed in the top 6 in a number of the contests he entered, including the 2006 Grand Prix Australia, where he took first place.
Ronny’s professional high point was in 2010 when he competed in the Mr. Olympia finals.
After finishing the competition in sixth place, Ronny expressed the following and expressed his extreme pride in his accomplishment:
“The biggest and most significant event is Mr. Olympia. Of course, it’s a terrific pleasure to compete alongside the best athletes.
He placed sixth in the Arnold Classic the same year. This indicated that his dedication and perseverance at the gym had indeed paid off.
Ronny, however, encountered a challenge after learning that he had type 2 diabetes in 2011.
Ronny didn’t let the fact that this ran in his family cause the termination of his bodybuilding career. Instead, he continued to advance, eager to achieve more achievements.
Where Is He Now?
Ronny looked for a new challenge for himself after participating in the professional bodybuilding stage for a while. As a result, he started competing in the 212 weight division.
He quickly won first-place finishes in the 2017 tournaments in New York Pro and Toronto Pro Supershow.
This demonstrated that Ronny was still a prominent contender in the world of bodybuilding. Ronny was able to maintain his motivation in his pursuit of achievement as a result.
Training
To promote the building of lean muscle, Ronny lifts heavy during his workouts. He concentrates most on strengthening his shoulders and legs, which Ronny considers to be his strongest attributes.

Ronny was resolved to work hard in the gym and develop a great physique like them. Ronny was then able to realize his dream of becoming a pro bodybuilder.
Ronny also finds inspiration in his fellow countryman Dennis Wolf.
Ronny aspires to have the same degree of success as Dennis, a bodybuilder who has achieved enormous success in his career.

Ronny didn’t let the fact that he had a challenging upbringing deter him from achieving his goal of developing a fantastic physique.
Ronny knew he wanted to pursue a profession in bodybuilding as soon as he learned about it.
