Who Is Steve Cook?
Steve Cook has been training since he was a young child, and with his father as his coach and trainer, there wasn’t much he couldn’t do, from playing high school football to setting weightlifting records in his teens.

Biography (Early Life)
An Early Start
Steve Cook was destined for a career in the fitness business from an early age, and this was obvious. Cook was raised in a “very sporty family” as the middle child of seven in Boise, Idaho.
Cook had already begun to develop his rippling physique in elementary school. Cook’s father, who was the athletic director, would frequently accompany him to the track and gym.
Cook started utilizing free weights with good form at the age of 10; his body was already on the road to greatness.
Keeping Score
When Steve entered high school, he was already famous. being the most muscular student in the school and setting every gym record.
Steve was quickly selected for high school football as word of his strength and prowess spread, and this eventually led to a career in college football.
Going Back To The Gym
He resorted to the one relationship he knew he could rely on to keep him on track after going through a difficult divorce. Bodybuilding.
Cook was contacted to participate in the fit body contest at the Boise fit expo following a recent competition in a bodybuilding show.
Soon after leaving with a victory, he began searching for further contests with comparable requirements. During the Olympia, he discovered the Muscle & Fitness Male Model Search Competition in Las Vegas.
While finishing his bachelor’s degree, Cook put in a lot of effort and got in the best form of his life; as a result, he finished first out of 90 competitors.

Switch It Up
Steve doesn’t think it’s a good idea to remain with the same kind of workout program; instead, he frequently switches up the volume, rep tempo, and range of reps to keep his muscles guessing.
According to Steve, having a strategy that lasts for two weeks is great before changing things up is a good idea. He will typically favor higher volume training all year long.
Steve works out for a week in the following ways:

“I often stick to the same diet all year long. I’m constantly 5 pounds away from being stage ready. In the off-season, I will indulge in fruit and dairy products and allow myself to eat more carbohydrates.

Steve maintains a year-round diet and is always within 5 pounds of being stage-ready in terms of body fat. In the off-season, he’ll give himself extra carbohydrates, dairy, and fruits.
However, he will start to cut back on the carbs when competitions or photo shoots approach, claiming that carb cycling is his preferred technique.
Maintain his protein intake at 250–300g and his fat intake at 50–70g. consuming lean proteins as the foundation of his diet, such as ground turkey, chicken sirloin steak, and fish, to maintain a healthy metabolism.
Steve will weigh all of his food and track his calories while preparing for the competition. Steve explains, “I feel like I am doing everything I can to win as I weigh and pack my food each day. It’s more of a mental thing.”

Typical meals during Steve’s day could include:
- Meal 1: 8 Egg Whites, 2 Whole Eggs, 1 cup Spinach, and Peppers in an Omelet. 40g (1/2cup) Oat Bran with Cinnamon
- Meal 2: (Pre-workout) 8 oz. Tilapia or other White Fish, 1 cup Greens, and 7 oz. (weighed raw) Sweet Potato (or 1 cup Brown Rice)
- Meal 3: (Post workout) 3/4 scoop whey protein, 45 mins later 4 oz. Chicken, 1 cup Greens, 7 oz. (weighed raw) Sweet Potato (or 1 cup Brown Rice)
- Meal 4: Shake- 1.5 scoops Gold Standard, low-fat string Cheese, Apple, and 14g Almonds
- Meal 5: 8 oz. Beef Sirloin or Fillet, Greens, and 2 Rice Cakes
- Meal 6: 7 oz. Ground Turkey or Fish with Olive or Flax Oil and Greens
Influences And idols
being a huge admirer of attractive bodybuilders, with Arnold being his favorite. When he first met him when he was 7, he immediately became a tremendous fan.
The classics, including Steve Reeves, Frank Zane, Bob Paris, Lee Haney, Lee Labrada, and Milos Sarcev, are also favorites of Steve. A tremendous fan of the late Zyzz as well (Az Shavershian).
