Biography
Early Life Of Tasha Star
Tasha Star, who was born in 1985 in Toronto, Canada, was a very active child. Particularly since I participated in highly competitive equestrian showjumping, as Tasha put it. Tasha began drinking, though, as she became older and more sociable.
She started dining out more as a result, and she also developed bad habits. Tasha made a change when she realized how fast and negatively her body was changing.
At the age of 26, Tasha decided to get back in shape since she didn’t like the way she was going. She joined a friend in a one-month training program.
Tasha learned everything she needed to know about bodybuilding and strength training from her trainer. I fell in love with it, Tasha said.
Short Career Of Tasha Star
Tasha decided her body was ready to enter her first bikini display as she grew more assured in her abilities in the gym.
She was confident that going on stage in a bikini in front of more than 600 spectators would give her the motivation she needed to get in the best shape possible.
“I chose to take the stage in front of more than 600 people wearing a little bikini! That inspired me to reach new heights since I wanted to put together a package that was at least as nice as the other females’!
Tasha claimed that although the preparation for the competition was challenging, she “stayed true” to her body by maintaining a nutritious, all-natural diet.
Discourages In The Competition
The Ontario Physique Association hosted its first fitness bikini competition on May 11, 2013, in Mississauga. Tasha had been working out hard for years by this time.
Tasha received eighth place out of a total of 17 participants after taking the stage in front of the judges, where she eagerly awaited the announcement of the winners.
This was not the position Tasha was searching for, she claimed. She claimed that the judges may not have thought her tan was dark enough to merit a spot among the top 5.
Tasha’s spirit, nonetheless, kept her moving forward. It has only made me more determined to perform better in my upcoming competitions, she remarked.
Continue Competing In Bikini Events
Tasha has participated in numerous further bikini competitions around Canada since her first one, including the Arnold Amateurs. Tasha eventually achieved success in her endeavors, qualifying for the championships after taking first place overall in Ontario in 2015 in addition to the overall title.
Tasha expected higher outcomes, but she ultimately didn’t perform as well as she hoped throughout her competitive career.
Tasha doesn’t let her setbacks keep her down and keeps looking to new challenges, like the Arnold Classic, with the hopes of winning one day.
“I’m in the best shape of my life right now! In terms of my health and confidence, I feel fantastic, and it feels terrific! In addition to the physical advantages, I have attracted a lot of interest from other fitness experts and have been encouraged to stay in the field.
What Motivates Tasha
Tasha has experienced many ups and downs over the years she has been participating, but she has persevered and advanced by making the most of each circumstance. Tasha offers the following advice to those facing similar challenges in life:
“Don’t undervalue your abilities, both inside and outside the gym. I hear folks saying they are too busy or that they don’t have time to prepare meals or work out far too frequently.
It is achievable because I manage to prepare all of my meals and train for two hours every day while working three jobs.
Additionally, when exercising, constantly push yourself above your perceived limits because, believe me, you undoubtedly have more in you! There’s a reason it’s called working out… Finally, keep trying. You can always find a way to succeed in your endeavors! (Tasha Star)

Training
Cardio HIIT, (Fitness)
Tasha favors HIIT over moderate and steady-state cardio to get lean and feel strong. It is brief, intense, and when carried out properly, has proven to be the most successful method for long-term fat loss, as Tasha puts it.
Training In Strength
To build her general strength and size, Tasha prefers to add hard compound exercises to her three to four days of weekly leg workouts. She’ll stick to an 8–20 rep range for most of her exercises, including her legs.
My upper body develops quite quickly, therefore I am constrained in what I can do for training as a bikini competitor, as Tasha puts it. I work with every muscle group in the upper body for one day, followed by two days dedicated to the shoulders.
Tasha will vary her workouts when she is in top shape and incorporate “periodization or phases to encourage maximal reaction.”
“I enjoy competing and succeeding, but I also enjoy encouraging others to do the same. I’m genuinely passionate about this field. It doesn’t feel like work at all.
I always have something exciting to work on since I am constantly setting new goals and looking ahead.
Nutrition
Adaptable Diet, (Fitness)
Tasha enjoys using the flexible dieting strategy since it enables her to consume her preferred meals. She also benefits from not having a desire for food.
I’m less likely to overeat since I know I can sometimes fit in a treat if I want to, as Tasha says.
It’s a strategy that works well for me because I do occasionally enjoy a variety of foods and indulgences, and this enables me to do so guilt-free and without feeling like I’ve slowed down my progress!
Tasha has added that some individuals who adopt flexible diets do so incorrectly, indulging in “pop tarts all day.” Tasha, though, will eat healthily 90% of the time.
When she feels like it, she’ll occasionally leave room for a treat. As long as she hits her macros, she can choose any food sources she chooses.
Favorite Cuisines
Overnight oats are one of Tasha’s go-to dinners since they provide a quick breakfast. “Combine 1/2 c oats, 1 scoop whey, 1 tbsp chia seeds, and then I like to add some banana and dark chocolate chips,” Tasha says she’ll do the night before.
She adds that it’s crucial to have enough water so that the oats can absorb the moisture. Once ready, she places it in the refrigerator. It’s like a delicious, easy-to-make cool oat pudding that I can grab in the morning, said Tasha.
Supplements
Tasha must take care of her body all year long because she is a natural competitor. By providing it with the nourishment it needs to stay up with her rigorous training sessions, she achieves this.
To support her general health, Tasha typically takes vitamins, BCAAs, whey protein, pre-workout, CLA, and a green super-food supplement.
Influences And Idols
Tasha declares, “I have been a major Amanda Latona fan ever since day one. I adore how well-balanced her strong and feminine attributes are. Her mature muscular mass is amazing, and her glutes are to die for.
Additionally, she describes Amanda as being “very lovely and sincere in person.” Tasha continues by expressing her admiration for all women who establish themselves in the fitness business.
It takes a lot of work and dedication, and there are so many amazing women out there that they all deserve honor and credit, as Tasha puts it.
“For me, nothing ever suffices. Yes, I’m pleased with what I’ve done so far, but I know I can do even better, so I’ll keep pushing myself to achieve more.
What Can Tasha Star Teach Us?
Tasha Star’s love for sports persisted throughout her childhood and into her late adolescence. However, she hired a personal trainer and got to work after realizing that her life was going in a direction she didn’t enjoy.
Tasha “fell in love” with fitness and bodybuilding and later went on to compete professionally in the fitness modeling industry.
Tasha’s existence in the competitive world hasn’t always been easy; she frequently finished in lower ranks and didn’t place in the top 5 on stage.
Tasha was unfazed and set about using all of her bad experiences as “fuel” to perform better the next time. When asked for advice for those wishing to fulfill their life goals, Tasha responds as follows:
Tasha’s Tips
“Study new material. Unfortunately, a lot of information is incorrect. By comprehending how the body functions, you may learn the fundamentals of nutrition and exercise.
Follow authorities, read about their various strategies, and choose the one that best suits you. Hire a trainer you can trust who is knowledgeable, experienced, and has a track record of satisfied clients.
Goal-setting and a strong work ethic. Even if you have high expectations for yourself, if you aren’t willing to work hard you won’t likely achieve much. To succeed in this field, you need to be very intense, focused, and confident. (Tasha Star)
