Biography

Athletic Family

In Windsor, Colorado, a small town, Taylor spent his early years. The family was fascinated with fitness and owned a home gym in addition to a membership to Gold’s Gym because her father was a bodybuilder and her mother was a Denver Broncos cheerleader.

Her parents instilled in her the importance of proper nutrition from a young age. They also demonstrated some fundamental exercises for her and explained the advantages of working out and lifting weights.

These lessons stuck in a big way. Taylor claims that her parents instilled in her good eating habits, such as carrying bags of wholesome food to school rather than dining at fast food restaurants.

The beginning of bodybuilding

Her parents chose to participate in bodybuilding competitions in 2009 (her mother in figure, her father in bodybuilding). She claims that she knew the fitness industry was the place for her as soon as she saw them take the stage.

She began reading daily articles on nutrition and exercise, learning the proper way to eat and how to perform aerobic exercises to enhance weight reduction.

Although she later found great benefit from this understanding, she overdid her exercise and dieting when she was younger.

Emergence Of An Eating Disorder

Taylor eventually became anorexic during her adolescence. Every day, she would exercise very hard but consumed hardly any food to fuel her body.

If she went out to eat, she would only order a salad and try to limit her intake of high-calorie meals. Taylor claims that as a result, she was miserable and lacked the energy to work out.

Taylor eventually succeeded in ending this cycle and reestablishing a positive relationship with eating. She asserts that she feels as though she went through this pain to support people going through similar things.

Studying Dietetics

Taylor became interested in studying food and nutrition as a result of this event. She attended Purdue University to pursue a dietetics degree and thoroughly enjoyed herself. She made a lot of new acquaintances who were also into bodybuilding and fitness.

Taylor claims that while earning this degree helped her understand more about how to better her food and nutrition, the main motivation behind her studies was to assist others.

Her interest in personal training was prompted by a desire to assist others in creating healthier meals.

Individual Training

Taylor started her career development after completing a personal training course accredited by the ACE. She created a website to promote a global online service and started meeting face-to-face with different athletes.

As she gained more expertise, she began working with clinical RDs and dieticians at a hospital and with the Purdue University sports team.

For 1.5 years, she also worked as a personal trainer in Indianapolis and at the Purdue University Recreational Center.

“What genuinely fulfills me is watching someone improve their total fitness, health, and happiness.”

Bikini contests

Taylor Chamberlain maintained her self-control by exercising frequently practically every day as she instructed others. She drastically improved her physique through this training and decided to compete like her mother.

Taylor chose to enter the bikini figure category because it suited her size and build the best. She finished third in her debut competition, earning national qualification.

She then followed this up at her second show with a first and overall, which allowed her to go to NPC competitions.

Taylor finished ninth in her first NPC national competition. Even though she felt she might have performed better, she spent months preparing for her next NPC competition and finished an outstanding third at the 2016 NPC Universe.

Fame on social media

She was able to amass fans online thanks to her success on the competition stage. After she started posting videos on YouTube and photos on Instagram, her fan following soared.

She was able to win the respect of sufferers and survivors because of her experience of overcoming an eating issue. Taylor appreciated getting the chance to assist them as they frequently contacted her for advice.
