You have to wash the grapes thoroughly well under running water, put them into a container and freeze them overnight. And they are ready for consumption the next day. Certified nutritionist Marisa Moore says:

“When I want to crush a sweet craving with something healthy, I go for frozen grapes,”

“I keep a stash in the freezer. They are a sweet treat and [a] natural source of antioxidants and other polyphenols. Since they are frozen it takes longer to eat them, which may help my sweet tooth pass. I probably have them a couple [of] times a week and will occasionally coat them in vanilla Greek yogurt for a cool and creamy treat, or blend them for a bit of sorbet effect. Three-quarters of a cup of grapes has just 90 calories.”

Parfaits

These are delicious, healthy and will not come in the way of your weight loss program. These contain yoghurt with granola, nuts and fruits. Registered dietitian Laura Ali explains:

“Calcium triggers our heart muscle to contract, pumping blood through our body,”

“Research has shown that people that eat 5 or more servings of yogurt a week have a significantly reduced risk of high blood pressure than those who ate it less than once a month.”

Almond topping is good. Joanna Wen working with Spices and Greens opines:

“Almonds are rich in healthy fats and proteins that promote good metabolism.”

Blueberries with antioxidants and collagen are also a good topping option. Dietitian and health writer Johna Burdeos states:

Berries are low in calories at about 32 to 57 calories for a 100-gram serving (depending on the berry), making them a good low-calorie food to add to the diet especially if you’re trying to lose weight,”

Dana Ellis Hunnes from UCLA medical center suggests adding the high fiber bananas:

Less-ripe bananas can also be a good choice because of their resistant starch, and when they’re greener their carbs take longer to digest and [absorb],”

“They’re good for the microbiome (bacteria in the GI tract). That can help with weight loss and overall calorie intake.”
