Early Years

Tiphany Adams was raised in the Californian town of Lodi. She had a rough life; scandal surrounded her entire upbringing.

Due to her unruly behavior, Tiphany transferred schools a total of five times, either by being expelled or suspended.

Tiphany’s father raised her during her early years because her mother had started to struggle with drug and alcohol addictions.

“My mother’s addictions played a part in feeling rejected & abandoned growing up begging for her love & attention.

I was in 5 different schools, multiple street fights and court ordered programs. The struggle was real beyond belief”.

But Tiphany’s lifelong ambition was to work as an actor and model.

She began by enrolling in theater lessons and joining the chorus, which gave her a break from the challenging times she experienced early in her academic career. Tiphany started making amends for her poor decisions from this point on.

Tiphany was involved in a catastrophic vehicle accident when she was 17 years old, which irrevocably altered her life. A drunk driver was traveling at 130 mph when they crashed head-on.

Tiphany’s life was drastically impacted by this. Tiphany was the only survivor of the vehicle accident that claimed the lives of three of her friends, leaving her paraplegic for the rest of her life.

Tiphany was deeply affected by this, and she started to spiral down right away.

Tiphany was so heartbroken by her loss that she developed post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of the incident.

As a result, she started living a life of excessive drinking and prescription drug use. These were Tiphany’s darkest times, she says, adding:

“The loss of everyone in the wreck caused post traumatic stress with survivors guilt, so throwing drugs & alcohol in the mix it was suicidal combination”.

However, Tiphany was ultimately able to recover from the life-altering experience through sheer willpower and months of recuperation.

She attended her graduation only a few months after the accident, underscoring her immense character strength.

“In the hospital, I was given a five percent chance of survival, but with my optimistic views and spiritual beliefs, I pushed forward knowing I had a higher purpose to fulfill in the world”.

To cope with the catastrophe that completely altered her life, Tiphany resorted to fitness. She set goals for herself to continue pursuing her desire of overcoming her challenging history.
