Training

Tristyn Lee typically works out twice a day in the gym, concentrating on different muscle groups throughout each session.

Tristyn works out hard, but he also recognizes the value of rest. When his body senses the need, he will take a day off.

Leg Exercise

Squats are one of Tristan’s preferred leg-building workouts. However, he makes sure, to begin with, small weights to adequately warm up his joints because this workout is strenuous on his body.

Before he believes his legs are sufficiently warmed up and prepared, he won’t perform big squats.

Tristyn enjoys beginning his arm exercises with small weights. Then, as he completes each set, he will gradually add more weight until, in the last set, he can lift his maximum weight.

Here is the exercise:

  • Hammer Curls, 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps
  • Close-Grip Bench Press, 4-5 sets of 10-12 reps, last set to failure
  • Cable Triceps Extensions, 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps, last set to failure

Tristyn has discovered from personal experience that his body responds better to fats as an energy source than it does to carbohydrates. His body goes into “ketosis” when he follows a ketogenic diet, which causes him to burn fat rather than glucose as fuel.

Tristyn plays soccer, which entails long games, thus his body needs calories all the time.

Dietary fats provide him the advantage in this situation since they give him a constant amount of energy as opposed to simple carbohydrates, which only temporarily raise his blood sugar levels.

“Having a lot of calories for some people may cause them to gain body fat. But it’s also where these calories are coming from.

I don’t eat any sugar and always make sure to stay away from artificial sweeteners like maltodextrin, aspartame, sucralose etc. These all affect your body in a worse way than raw sugar does.”

What Tristyn Lee can teach us?

We have learned one important lesson from Tristyn Lee and his story: never use your age or upbringing as a justification for not getting the body you want. With perseverance, nothing is insurmountable.
