Valentino was born and reared in Naples, Italy, where he developed a natural passion for sports. He competed at the greatest level in Taekwondo and represented his nation.
Valentino was muscular for his age but quite thin at this point, weighing only 121 pounds (54 kg).
As a result, as he advanced in the physically demanding discipline, he sustained an injury that made him have to give up Taekwondo.

In 2008, after suffering his injury, Valentino started his rehabilitation program with the goal of fully recovering and regaining his fighting form.
He was told to start weightlifting so that he could build up his muscular strength and stamina again.
It didn’t take him long to add strength to his physique and fall in love with his accomplishments and physical condition.
This inspired him to keep working on creating the body of his dreams, and he developed an interest in the bodybuilding business.

Competing
Valentino put in a lot of effort over the following three years to get in shape so he could begin his professional bodybuilding career. He entered his first competition in 2013, the IFBB San Marino Classic.

He did, however, perform better in his second performance. ranking second in a lineup that was hotly contested. The third-place finish allowed him to qualify for the 2014 Arnold Classic USA, so he wasn’t just departing with pride.

Success
Valentino finally experiences victory at the tail end of 2013 as he wins the IFBB Ludus Maximus in his native Italy, besting a host of other Italian athletes.
However, he wasn’t done yet.
By 2014, Valentino had entered three more competitions, and the year before, he had won the IFBB Italian Championships, adding another trophy to his growing collection.
Training
