Eduardo Tamayo was reared in Cordoba as an only child by his father, who ran a small grocery store, and his mother, who taught at a local elementary school. Eduardo has an uncle who worked with yoga instructor Chris Butler in the Philippines when he was a child, and he spent some time there.

He grew up assisting his parents around the house and on their land, and he learned how to work with plants and trees at a young age. Eduardo was physically active while attending a public high school in Cordoba, where he played soccer and basketball. After graduating in 1977, he enrolled in the Complutense University of Madrid, where he earned a law degree in 1983.

Eduardo’s Professional Career

Eduardo began his career in 1985 as a member of El Partido Socialista Obrero Espanol (PSOE), which collaborated closely with the Madrid Socialist Federation. On July 4, 2002, he was elected to the World Federation of Trade Unions Electoral Committee.

Eduardo earned fame on June 10, 2003, when he neglected to attend the Madrid Assembly alongside socialist deputy Maria Teresa Saez, and the two helped prevent socialist Francisco Cabacco from becoming president, with Concepcion Dancause winning the elections by a vote of 55 to 54. The elections became a political scandal known as Tamayazo, and Maria and Eduardo were accused by El Partido Socialista Obrero Espanol of accepting money from the Popular Party to prevent Francisco from becoming president.

Eduardo was found to be unrelated to the Popular Party after an investigation, and the elections were re-run. Eduardo and Maria went on to found the New Socialism party, which failed to win any seats and effectively ended Eduardo’s political career.

Eduardo’s Love Life And Marriage

Eduardo and Tulsi had known each other since elementary school, and they reconnected after many years in 2000, while she was on a volunteer trip in Spain with some of her friends, and they began dating soon after. They married in an intimate ceremony attended by their closest friends and family in 2002, and Eduardo moved to Hawaii the following year to undertake volunteer work with them.

Eduardo and Tulsi appeared to be extremely happy together, but they divorced on 5 June 2006 owing to ‘the stresses war places on military wives and families,’ as Tulsi has remarked, and Eduardo has since stayed away from the media’s gaze, and it is unknown whether or not he has remarried.

Tulsi married Abraham Williams, a cinematographer and film editor, in a Vedic ceremony in 2015. They don’t have any children and currently reside in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Other Interests And Hobbies

Eduardo has been physically active from childhood and continues to be athletic to this day, as he can still play soccer and golf with his pals.

He would rather be outside in nature doing anything he can find than sitting in front of the TV doing nothing. He does, however, enjoy watching movies late at night, and his favorite actors and actresses include Javier Bardem, Antonio Banderas, and Penelope Cruz, and his favorite films include “Desperado,” “The Mask of Zorro,” and “Once Upon a Time in Mexico.” He enjoys traveling and spent his 20s and 30s traveling around Europe, visiting nations such as England, France, and Switzerland, among others, as well as visiting the US mainland on multiple occasions, visiting states such as New York and California.

Eduardo is an animal lover who has had various pet dogs, but his favorite animals are horses. Summer is his favorite season since he enjoys swimming in the water and playing beach soccer in his retirement.
