Who is Trent Olsen?
Trent Olsen is an American citizen and a Taurus by birth sign. He was born on May 6, 1984, in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, California, USA. He is a writer and a former actor but is perhaps best known for being the older brother of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, his identical twin sisters who have also achieved fame as actors.
Childhood And Education
Trent Olsen was reared in Los Angeles with his twin sisters and their sister Elizabeth by their TV personality father David Olsen and theater actress mother Jarnette Olsen. Trent’s sister Elizabeth is also an actress and is probably most recognized for her work in horror films like “Godzilla.”
Trent was inspired by his entire family to pursue acting at a young age. At the age of five, he won his first audition and was offered a part in the comedy-crime-fantasy movie “Tales from the Crypt,” but his parents forbade him from participating. He went to a school in North Hollywood where he got acting lessons and participated in a lot of plays. Trent enrolled in the University of Southern California two years after graduating, and, according to the IMDb website, he completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree there in just two years, in May 2006. More likely, he began college immediately after high school.
Acting As A Career
Trent made his first appearances in his twin sisters’ music videos when he was nine years old in “The Olsen Twins Mother’s Day Special” and again in “Our First Video” (although it wasn’t their first video).
Trent later admitted that he detested his sisters’ song “Brother for Sale” and that they frequently sang it to him just to tease him. Trent later made appearances in his sisters’ two new videos, “You’re Invited to Mary-Kate & Ashley’s Sleepover Party” and “The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley: The Case of the Mystery Cruise,” both of which were released in 1995.
Following the release of these videos, Trent caught the attention of a casting director, who invited him to appear as the Boy with Flowers in the episode “Michelle Rides Again: Part 2” of the Jeff Franklin-created family comedy “Full House,” which also starred Bob Saget, John Stamos, and Dave Coulier. The episode follows a broadcaster who must raise his three daughters with the assistance of his brother-in-law after his wife passes away. Trent briefly appeared in “The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley: The Case of the U.S. Space Camp Mission,” another of his sisters’ movies, in 1996. He then had a seven-year vacation from acting before making an appearance in the episode “The Olsen Twins” of the documentary series “Driven.”
He also made an uncredited appearance in the 2003 comedy “Old School,” which starred Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, and Luke Wilson and was about three buddies starting their fraternity. The film was a hit and received five award nominations.
Trent had an appearance in the episode “Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen” of the documentary series “Biography” in 2004 before deciding to give acting a complete rest. However, he returned in 2014 for the comedy series “Comedy Corner” episode “Work Break.”
Trent has been traveling the US since 2014 while working as a writer and photographer for the production business Storm King Productions. Trent is mostly interested in producing feature films, the majority of which feature vampires.
Relationship Status
When Trent was 22 years old, he first met his ex-girlfriend Kacey Style at a party. Kacey is a regular lady who only gained internet fame as a result of dating Trent. They were together for several years before breaking up for unspecified reasons; however, speculations are circulating online that Trent became disinterested in dating and preferred to focus on his profession and traveling. They began dating just a few days after they first met.
When Trent was 28 years old, he was introduced to American model Katherine Shane by a common friend. The two clicked right away and the next day began dating.

Trent is dating Katherine as of September 2020; he has never been married and has no children.
Activities And Other Passions
Trent was physically active during his teenage years, participating in his three favorite sports—football, baseball, and basketball—as well as being interested in martial arts. He started going to the gym at the age of 18 but stopped when he started working as a writer and began traveling, which is why his body is not as well-built as it once was.
He is proficient in the guitar and the keyboard. Trent enjoys listening to rap and pop music. His favorite musicians are Eminem, Lil Wayne, and Michael Jackson. He also likes the late jazz vocalist Frank Sinatra.
While on the road, he likes to read books, and romantic comedies are his preferred genre.
Trent is a talented artist, especially when it comes to caricatures.
In his own time, Trent enjoys watching movies. His favorite actors and actresses include Jim Carrey, Will Smith, and Julia Roberts. Some of his favorite films include “Liar Liar,” “I Am Legend,” and “The Runaway Bride.”
