Biography

Competitive Starts

YeonwooJhi, who was born in 1984, started competing in bodybuilding when she was 26 years old.

She had already spent many years working out to sculpt a stunning physique, so she decided to “take it a step further” by participating in bodybuilding competitions to see how she would compare to other female bodybuilders.

In 2010, she made her debut at the Korea YMCA. She was able to outperform more seasoned bodybuilders despite having little prior experience or understanding of the competitive environment, winning first place in her weight category.

Card Pro

YeonwooJhi’s illustrious career as a bodybuilder began with his triumph in the 2010 Korea YMCA. The South Korean saw success four times during the next three years, winning two trophies and finishing twice in the top three.

She began 2011 by capturing first place at the Muscle Beach International Figure Open Classic Championships, then a few months later, she finished second at the NPC Excalibur. She competed in the Miss Korea Competition in 2012, finishing third.

He will compete in the forthcoming Arnold Classic Europe Physique Competition thanks to her performance at Mr. Korea. Her desire to obtain the prestigious Pro card was further fueled by the prospect of winning the competition.

He was motivated by the challenge to work harder than before, making each repetition and calorie count. Her perseverance paid off as she won the 2013 Arnold Classic and received a Pro Card.

Future Contests

He took almost two years off the stage to better her body improvement after joining the professional circuit.

She returned in 2015 and finished fourth in the Vancouver Pro Woman’s Physique competition.

He competed in two more events by the year 2016: the 2016 New York Pro and the 2016 Women’s Physique International Competitors (No Placing) (3rd place).

Training

He enjoys lifting large weights based on her physique. When she works out in the gym, she can lift 300 pounds each day.

She asserts that this is among the only strategies to develop a body that resembles hers—strong-looking and proportionate.

She performs 4-5 sets of each exercise with a standard amount of repetitions (between 8 and 12). Her exercises generally consist of 20–25 sets total.

The Korean follows a typical training split that is modified periodically. She avoids training plateaus and monotony in this way.

Nutrition

Intake of Calories Throughout the Year

He eats a lot of calories—about 2800—to keep fit all year long. However, the majority of these calories come from “clean-food” sources, so lean meats, egg whites, brown rice, almonds, fruits, and vegetables make up the bulk of her diet.

She doesn’t need to cut back very often because of her stringent eating habits. Should this occur, she will simply reduce her calorie intake by 200–500 kcal or perform many HIIT workouts.
