Biography
Athletic Lifestyle
In 1992, Zoey Wright was born in Cornwall, where she has since made her home. She participated in soccer, athletics, and long-distance running, highlighting her love of competitive sports.
When Zoey turned 18, she started working out in the gym to enhance her performance in these sports. She immediately experienced a setback, though, when she seriously injured her knee while playing soccer.
Zoey had to use crutches while she was out of commission. She eventually had knee surgery to fix the damage caused by her injuries. She was able to resume living a normal life after she had healed, much like anyone else her age.
She eventually enrolled in a university course on sports rehabilitation. From that point on, she went out socially and took summer vacations with her friends. But everything changed one day when her health deteriorated.
Diagnosis
In 2012, Zoey received a diagnosis of ulcerative colitis, a kind of inflammatory bowel illness. As a result, Zoey started to experience excruciating agony, which caused her to lose a significant amount of weight.
Zoey had to begin taking several medications to deal with her chronic disease. Her huge intestine should be removed, according to the experts. But Zoey turned them down because she was determined not to let her disease win.
She continued taking her medication and put off the procedure as long as she could. But Zoey was continually being made aware of her suffering. Concerning this, Zoey said:
“My ulcerative colitis would serve as a constant reminder that it was there, ripping apart my internal organs, causing me severe pain, and necessitating endless hospital stays, medicine, and therapy regimens. It was depressing me both physically and mentally.
It all eventually got to be too much for Zoey to handle. She unwillingly chose to have her big intestine removed during an ileostomy procedure in 2014.
She first had trouble adjusting, which hurt her self-confidence. But all of that changed one day when she discovered bodybuilding.
Learning About Bodybuilding
After her operation, Zoey started regularly working out in the gym with her partner. As she worked to leave her darkest days in the past, it gave her the chance to live her life positively.
Zoey was now committed to rekindling her love of fitness. She had the opportunity to do that right now. She made rapid, significant improvements in her training, which helped her stay inspired and learn to cope with her condition.
At this moment, Zoey decided that she wanted to advance her fitness journey.
To achieve her ultimate aim of spreading awareness of her sickness, she wanted to demonstrate to herself that she could get past concerns about her condition. She then set out on a mission to make it to the bodybuilding stage.

Zoey accomplished her objective of competing in bodybuilding only 10 months after having surgery. In 2015, she participated in her first tournament and made it to the finals. She was still getting better though.
Zoey was regrettably forced to leave the tournament as a result. She didn’t let this, however, deter her.
When 2017 arrived, Zoey was prepared to compete once more on the bodybuilding stage and signed up for the 2017 Pure Elite Competition.
Zoey finished as the overall female champion as a consequence of her perseverance and hard work.
