Kim Kardashian was at the Met Gala 2022 with her beau Pete Davidson.
She looked gorgeous and happy. But what was concerning that she had done a drastic weight loss in order to fit herself into a dress that belonged to Marilyn Monroe. It was small for her and hence she lost 7.2 kg for it in weeks!!!

The famous American socialite, Kim Kardashian was at the Met Gala 2022 with her comedian boyfriend Pete Davidson. People were curious to know what dress she would wear for this occasion.
Kim came there and onto the red carpet in a gown that Marilyn Monroe wore in 1962. It was a Jean Louis gown that she had worn when she sang the song Happy Birthday for President John F. Kennedy.
This gown was worth USD 5 million in 2016. Kim wrote on her Instagram:
“I am so honored to be wearing the iconic dress that Marilyn Monroe wore in 1962 to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to President John F. Kennedy. It is a stunning skintight gown adorned with more than 6,000 hand-sewn crystals by costumier Jean Louis,”

The diet regime of Kim to fit into this gown
The gown was flown via a private jet to her home in California. She had to try it on wearing gloves.
And unfortunately, the gown was smaller for her. Kim was upset and decided to undergo a rapid weight loss in order to fit the gown. She said:
“I tried it on, and it didn’t fit me,”
“I said, ‘Give me three weeks.’ I had to lose 16 pounds (7.2 kg) down today.”
Kim wore a sauna suit two times a day. She did intense workouts and used the treadmill daily. She totally eliminated all sugars and carbs from her diet. Talking about it, she said:
“I didn’t starve myself, but I was so strict,”
Intense workouts and strict diet helped the determined Kim reach her goals. But her rapid weight loss is worrisome.

Kim’s worrying weight loss
The reality TV star, Kim had cut off all carbs from her diet for those three weeks. Our body needs carbs, proteins, fats, minerals, vitamins, fiber and water for an all round growth.
A balance of these substances and good categories is needed for healthy body and mind. It is not good to totally banish one good category. Kim had not consumed any carbs and sugars for 3 weeks.
Carbs and sugars are essential for the body. They are useful for production of serotonin which is a happy hormone and stabilizes mood.
Carbs also have some fiber that prevents constipation and gives the feeling of satiety. Some of the complex carbs lower blood sugar and cholesterol in the blood.
Eating a no-carb diet removes all these benefits. Such disordered diets are not healthy and one should avoid them.
After switching back to regular diet, Kim will again put on some weight. This cycle of weight loss and weight gain can harm the body in the long run.
And by writing about it on her social media, she has disillusioned her 311 million followers too. She has spread a wrong message that could have a bad repercussion on the health of her fans.
