Biography

Narmin’s Early Life

The day of Narmin Assria’s birth was September 21, 1988. Narmin has always had a love for physical activity and athletics. In her younger years, she studied dancing, gymnastics, basketball, and track, and field.

But Narmin had a problem; as a child, she frequently got criticized for seeming thin. “I was always told to eat since I was tiny,” Narmin remarked.

I detested being told that I was thin and that I needed to eat, especially because I ate more than that individual did.

She began working out in the gym to gain weight as a result of these unfavorable remarks. Narmin weighed 85 pounds when she walked inside the gym for the first time.

Fitness Dependence

Narmin’s body took to her weight training program incredibly well; in fact, she noticed changes in her physique after just two months of going to the gym.

Fitness then turned into a preoccupation. It was my new best friend, she declared. Lifting weights and spending all day in the gym became my addiction.

Narmin then decided to supplement her gym workouts with a balanced diet to accelerate her growth. She was able to transform herself entirely with adequate time and effort; she went from being slender to being fit and muscular.

An Overview of Bikini Shows

A trainer at her nearby gym approached Narmin less than a year later. The trainer encouraged her to start competing after being impressed by her quick transformation.

Narmin gave the “competitive lifestyle” some thinking before deciding to give it a shot and see where it would take her.

One year after she first entered the gym, she participated in her first competition. It was a victory in and of itself, she claimed.

The 2010 NPC California State Bodybuilding Competition was Narmin’s first-ever bikini show, but she went one step further and won second place.

Become a Pro Leaguer

Narmin was happy with her swift results as she prepared for her tournaments without a coach. She finished fourth at her second competition, the 2010 USA Championships.

After the show, she recruited Kim Oddo as her coach to help her progress toward obtaining the Pro Card. The 2011 NPC West Coast Classic Bodybuilding Competition saw her win the “A” class. After that, she competed at the USA Nationals and earned a first place there, earning herself a professional card.

Narmin stunned everyone when she was named the champion of the biggest amateur show in the USA after only one year of training. But this was just the start of her illustrious bikini competition career.

The Professional Circuit’s Way of Life

In the summer of 2011, Narmin competed in her first professional bikini competition, placing fifth.

She took part in an amazing 14 shows over the following two years. She won the 2012 IFBB Pacific USA Pro Bikini, 2013 IFBB Southern California Pro Bikini, and 2013 IFBB Iowa Pro during that time, and she also finished in the top three seven times.

In 2012 and 2013, she also competed in the Bikini Olympia, finishing 16th both times.

She made physical improvements in 2014 and placed better at the Olympia, 12th.

The Iowa Pro, where she won for the second time straight, was her lone triumph that year. She achieved similar success in 2015, taking home her third straight IFBB Iowa Pro trophy.

Successful Competitor

Narmin has already established herself as a female bodybuilding icon by 2016.

One of her best performances of the 2015–2016 season was when she ranked among the top 6 physiques at the Ms. Bikini Olympia and won the Swedish Fitness Galan.

Narmin has competed in an astounding 34 tournaments since she started her professional bodybuilding career in 2010.

Competing frequently requires a great deal of commitment and discipline.

Narmin said that juggling her fitness competition lifestyle with her regular commitments occasionally made it difficult for her to get adequate sleep.

She nevertheless went on to become one of the best bikini athletes in the world despite it.

Training

Stair Climber Exercise

Narmin solely uses the Stairmaster for cardio since she believes it is wonderful for the legs and glutes in addition to burning fat. She prefers to make sure her cardio workouts are hard.

Optimal Exercises

Narmin’s “all-time” favorite exercise is the walking lunge. She enjoys doing this exercise since it targets her legs and glutes.

She also likes hack squats since they target her hamstrings. Narmin claims that while it can be a difficult workout for beginners, once done correctly, it is quite useful.

The Arnold Press, which concentrates on the middle deltoids, is her third preferred exercise. Narmin claims that this workout has helped her increase the strength and power in her upper body.

Narmin encourages heavy lifting for all genders. She asserts that the only way to develop a strong and toned figure is for women to not be frightened to lift higher weights.

“Muscle is a woman’s best accessory, and I wear mine with pride,” she continued. Hire a qualified coach to show you the way, like my own Kim Oddo, who is a well-known and top trainer in the field.

  • Wednesday: Biceps, triceps, and abs
  • Thursday: Off day
  • Friday: Hamstrings and Quads, Cardio for 40min
  • Saturday: Abs and 40 min of cardio
  • Sunday: Off

Nutrition

The Secret Is Balance

Narmin follows a similar diet to other elite athletes. To maintain her muscle mass, she consumes a lot of lean protein (eggs, chicken, steak, and turkey).

Additionally, she feeds her body nutritious carbohydrates like oats, yams, and brown rice. Asparagus, zucchini, and broccoli are some of the vegetables that Narmin emphasizes are a part of a healthy diet.

She follows a clean diet for the majority of the year but occasionally treats herself to a cheat meal if she feels her body demands it. Narmin says that balance is essential for obtaining both a trim physical and a healthy mind.

Supplementation

Narmin solely consumes high-quality whey protein powder as a supplement.

Narmin’s Waffles Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/3 cup of oats
  • 1 tablespoon of natural almond butter
  • 3 packets of stevia
  • cinnamon

How Narmin makes it:

“I mix these all up together and I have a special waffle maker that I got for Christmas last year that I use every day! They are seriously amazing, and when I’m not on prep I’ll add a banana and strawberries to it. You wouldn’t want to try anything else after these waffles. I top it off with some calorie free syrup.”

Influences and Idols

Narmin cited her mother as her major source of motivation. She has remained by Narmin’s side for the duration of her fitness journey.

Narmin started idolizing Amanda Latona as soon as she began competing. Narmin thinks that Amanda is lovely “on the inside and the outside.”

Amanda taught her a lot about sportsmanship, discipline, and consistency. The two are now close friends and rivals.

“In order for things to change you must take a chance. Taking that leap of faith can either change your entire life or it can make you think differently! Believe in the process. Never give up on yourself. Become unstoppable.”

How Can Narmin Assria Teach Us Something?

In a short period, Narmin Assria has seen amazing success. Since she began working out at age 21, she has developed into one of the best fitness models and bikini athletes in the world from 2010 to 2016.

She had to give up all of her leisure time, though, to succeed in this way.

Amanda had to put a lot of effort into her nutrition, competition preparations, training, and internet presence in addition to her full-time job and obligations to her friends and family.
