Healthy nostalgic foods
We all are nostalgic of our good old days. We want to eat foods that remind us of those days. It is good but certain foods like fries and chips might not be so healthy. And Katy Perry has co founded her brand of alcohol-free aperitifs with adaptogens and botanicals called De Soi. A new Gallup poll revealed that fewer people these days hard drink. And the average drinks per week fell from 4.8 in 2009 to 3.6 in 2021. It is more of youths who are sober and even if they drink they prefer low alcohol options.
Carbon neutral snacks
There is paucity of food supply now with soaring food bills. Hence people are thinking a lot on healthy eating. A recent Ketchum Consumer Research revealed that 56% of Americans favor good sustainability. US President Joe Biden wants to make USA carbon free by 2050. Initiatives are on and manufacturers would follow suit. Climate Neutral has started a certification process for it. 51 American food brands have got it. Shar Snacks founder, Peter Rushford said:
“Carbon neutrality is vitally important…because our planet is in crisis. If we don’t reduce the output of carbon emissions, we won’t have a habitable planet,”
Food brands from Latin companies
Latin companies have entered the US market to offer fresh traditional and modern Latin foods. This will include new drinks like mavi that has medicinal properties.
