Biography
Gymnasium sports
Alex Crockford, who was born and bred in the UK, has always been passionate about sports. He participated in a variety of sports while in school and always sought out new ways to improve and challenge himself.
His love for physical activity inevitably led him to delve into the world of fitness.
Moving on to Full-Time Fitness
Alex eventually shifted his attention to weightlifting and fitness. One of his goals was to work as a personal trainer. In 2011, he succeeded in obtaining a degree in personal coaching and fitness through perseverance.
Later, he managed to land a position as a personal trainer at a business gym. He picked up the fundamentals of coaching here. Alex discovered that his one genuine passion was exercise as he acquired expertise.
He decided to start his coaching firm as a result of this. Alex’s social media following increased as he posted more images and videos of himself, and so did his aspirations to help and connect with more people.
Alex served as a model for many of his fans with his trim and athletic build. a fantastic job, a sound work ethic, and a fit body.
He served as an example for many others, and as a result, he is now a well-known personal coach and one of England’s top fitness models.
“We get lost sometimes in pushing forwards, so let’s just take a second to appreciate how much progress we’ve made already.”
Training
Alex’s training isn’t based only on gym workouts. He enjoys exercising outside and using his imagination. He believes that trying out new things is what keeps his interest and enthusiasm for fitness alive.
Exercises
Workouts Alex engages in a variety of exercises, including cardio running outside, and bench pressing in the gym.
When he travels to new places, Alex frequently finds himself without time to visit the gym since he is too busy living the life of a coach and fitness model.
In this instance, he employs his body weight or resistance bands, depending on what is available to him, for training. To keep his heart racing and his muscles “burning,” he will perform push-ups, crunches, and other simple activities.
When performing these workouts, he takes a 30-second break between sets. But he’ll need longer time to recuperate from strenuous compound movements.
Back Exercise
Here is one of Alex’s preferred exercises for developing and strengthening his lats:
- Single-Arm Rows, 3 sets of 12 reps, 30 seconds of rest between sets
- Bent Over Rows (alternate between machine and free weights), 3 sets of 10 reps
- Straight Arm Pushdowns, 3 sets of 10 reps
- Neutral Grip Pull Downs, 3 sets of 15 reps, then 3 additional drop sets of 15 reps each
True passion cannot be concealed because it is genuine. I will always be driven to help, inspire, motivate, and educate people about their health and fitness and help them live full, happy lives because I am so grateful to have found mine.
Nutrition
For Alex, the meal is different every week. He has learned to be more accommodating with his dieting method when he is traveling and can’t always track and organize his food.
Alex will write down and adhere to his specified dieting targets if he is preparing for a major photo session.
Only one or two days’ worth of meals is prepared in advance by him. I hardly ever make plans beyond that, says Alex. He adheres to the tried-and-true prep meal of chicken, rice, and vegetables.
Protein
Alex frequently keeps track of his protein consumption. This is significant since protein is what enables him to develop and keep up his lean physique.
He keeps his protein intake at 1 lb for 1 kg of body weight, which equates to 175-200 g of protein per day, to keep his body in an anabolic state.
For many years, Alex has kept track of the amount of protein in each meal. Because of this, he no longer constantly needs a food scale to determine how much protein he is consuming; instead, he simply “eyeballs” it these days.
“Having tracked this for many years, I usually just know how much protein I’m eating a day.” – Alex Crockford
Protein, Fat, and Fiber
Few carbohydrates are consumed by Alex. Since he needs to replace his glycogen levels throughout his exercises, he usually only consumes them in the morning and right before them.
He primarily consumes carbohydrates from whole foods like yams and brown grains. On the other hand, vegetables give him fiber, in addition, to slowly digesting carbohydrates.
He avoids blood sugar spikes and has a steady supply of energy all day long as a result.
Alex consumes fats in a modest amount. Avocados and other wholesome food sources are where he receives his fatty acids from.
For Alex, fats are crucial because they aid in the production of testosterone, a hormone that is needed for both the health and growth of his muscles.
“I don’t typically count, monitor, or strive for a specific amount, but I do try to incorporate veggies in every big meal, and I typically advise having the majority of your plate made up of vegetables. Unlimited!”

In Alex’s diet, supplements are crucial. They enhance his muscle growth, maintain his general health, and provide him with a little extra energy boost as he exercises.

The ingredients are as follows:
- 2 eggs
- 1 banana
- 30g oats
- 1 scoop of protein powder
How: Alex warms some oil in a pan over medium heat. He will add the components that he had previously blended after everything is hot. After a few minutes on each side, he finishes cooking it by adding low-sugar ice cream on top.
Sleep Advice
Even though Alex is aware of the value of exercise and proper nutrition, sleep and other lifestyle elements are equally important for him.
Alex thinks that getting enough sleep is essential for maintaining a trim physique. He claims that many individuals disregard this crucial facet of life.
These are his top five suggestions for a restful night’s sleep:
Regularity:
To keep his circadian rhythm in check, Alex makes an effort to go to bed at the same time each night.
Lights:
To have a good night’s sleep, Alex avoids artificial lighting before bed.
Temperature:
Alex makes sure that the room is “on the cooler side” before going to bed. His body can cool off and fall asleep more quickly as a result.
Stress:
According to Alex, one of the things that disturb his sleep the most is stress. “A ruffled mind creates a restless cushion,” he explains. He prioritizes peaceful pursuits like deep breathing and meditation before bed because of this.
Caffeine:
In Alex’s opinion, caffeine is another “sleep killer.” He uses caffeine no later than seven hours before bed as a preventative measure against insomnia and restless sleep.
