Who is Ariel Khadr?

Model, sponsored athlete, and IFBB Fitness Pro contestant Ariel Khadr. She gave up her gymnastics career when she was 16 and started competing in fitness competitions.

Short Career of Ariel Khadr

Only one year later, at the age of 17, Ariel Khadr received her Pro Card. thereby becoming the IFBB Pro which is the youngest in history.

Ariel took six years off the stage after receiving her Pro Card so that she could complete her college degree.

She returned in 2015 and carried on where she had left off, competing in prestigious events like the Toronto Pro Supershow and Mr. Olympia.

Early Years of Ariel

Ariel Khadr, who is of Egyptian, Russian, and Polish ancestry, was raised by his parents as the only kid. Her parents were ambitious, hard-working people who “instilled” these traits in her from a young age.

According to Ariel, “My parents taught me the importance of hard work and believing in one’s ability to succeed,”

Ariel excelled in gymnastics at a level 10 full-time and later attained a second-degree black belt in taekwondo as a result of their lessons.

Ariel received a full gymnastics scholarship to Rutgers University after graduating from high school.

She made an immediate impression there with her performances. Unfortunately, she only experienced a brief time of “silky smooth” success in her life.

Ariel’s injuries were getting worse, and she was unable to compete in elite collegiate gymnastics. She ultimately had no choice but to stop applying the punishment.

Learning About Fitness

Ariel found fitness while looking for various methods to sate her “thirst” for being active. Although she claims to have always been interested in exercise, she didn’t think about living this lifestyle to its “full potential” until this point.

She soon joined her first gym and began working out with weights. She made quick development with her form, strength, and overall understanding of the exercises and training methods, just like in gymnastics.

Ariel became “hooked” to exercise once she noticed how her physique changed as a result of months of training. In every meaning of the term, as she puts it.

She was so enthralled by her new way of life that she decided to enter a fitness competition.

She won her first competition, and the judges agreed that she had the best body of all the contestants on stage. As a consequence, Ariel triumphantly left with a trophy for first place.

Youngest IFBB Pro

After her first show, she continued to compete for numerous years while aiming higher than the previous year.

She had taken home four more fitness championships before year’s end. For instance, she won the 2009 NPC Team Universe Fitness Nationals Championship, making her the youngest-ever IFBB Fitness Pro (aged 17).

Ariel took a six-year vacation from competition after receiving her Pro Card so she could complete her undergraduate education.

Return to Contests

With her IFBB Fitness Pro Debut at the 2015 Phoenix Europa Games, she made a comeback in October 2015. She came in third in the competition.

She qualified for the Fitness Olympia by winning the IFBB Toronto Pro Supershow in the summer of 2016. Three months later, she appeared on the Olympia stage and finished sixth in the fitness category.

Ariel claims she had “zero expectations” going in, so she was overjoyed with her finish. given that she was competing against the greatest of the best.

Each year, Ariel brings a more impressive version of her body, continuing to dazzle.

“I’ve learned from gymnastics and Tae Kwon Do that mental strength goes a long way.”


Gymnastics and Strength Training Together

even though her competitive gymnastics days are over. Ariel continues to practice the discipline to improve her strength, conditioning, and flexibility.

She practices gymnastics five times a week, for almost three hours each time. Strength, skill, and conditioning training are all part of her workouts.

After each gymnastics practice, she will also undertake cardio for 45 to an hour.

Ariel also works out with weights three times per week in addition to gymnastics. Her shoulders get one day, her legs get another, and her entire upper body gets the third day.

She will include some ab exercises, such as crunches or hanging leg lifts, in each workout.

Favorite Body Part

Ariel enjoys working out her back the most. Her go-to back exercises include seated rows, single-arm machine lat pull-downs, pull-ups, and bent-over rows.

She normally does her warm-up before moving on to the working sets.

Ariel also enjoys making the best use of her time. She achieves this by performing three or four supersets of 10–12 reps of each of her back workouts.

Twice a week, she would follow this practice, lifting heavier weights on one day and lighter weights on the other.

Ariel maintains a wholesome, well-balanced diet throughout the off-season. She claims that doing this makes the transition into on-season much easier because she doesn’t have to drastically alter her diet.

But a few months out from a competition, she’ll become quite rigorous and severe. This is Ariel adding to her diet preparation for the competition: “I maintain a rigorous contest diet and remain dedicated to my training.

Despite this, I do think that “diet is everything.” Without being mindful of what you eat, you cannot obtain the appearance you need or need.

She regularly consumes turkey, fish, steak, chicken, ostrich, bison, oats, quinoa, brown rice, nuts, avocado, olive oil, fatty fish, and vegetables, depending on the phase she is in.

Influences and Idols

Ariel cites eight-time Fitness Olympia Champion Adela Garcia as her primary fitness inspiration. Ariel is inspired to work hard in the gym since she thinks their bodies are similar to one another’s.
