Christmas Abbott is an American fitness model, Olympic weightlifter, professional CrossFit athlete, and author of her diet book. Additionally, she is the first girl to join the NASCAR pit crew.

Short Career of Christmas Abbott

Christmas Abbott wasn’t always the most ideal picture of a healthy lifestyle while I was growing up.

She was 13 years old when her sister and Christmas were involved in a car accident that caused her sister to go into a coma.

Christmas’ mental health was seriously compromised by the accident. She turned to drink and cigarettes as a coping mechanism for dealing with reality.

Eventually, this harmful behavior developed into a habit that persisted for almost ten years.

Christmas decided to make a drastic change in her life when she turned 22.

She went to Iraq with her mother as a civilian contractor, where she discovered the advantages of leading a healthy lifestyle and working out. She eventually stopped smoking and drinking as a result of this.

Following her return to the United States, Christmas applied what she had learned abroad and began seeking alternative forms of physical activity. At that time, she learned about CrossFit.

She quickly “fell in love” with the challenges that CrossFit presented and gradually increased her participation in the activity.

She created her gym and launched a personal training company in 2007. Christmas gained notoriety over the years for her incredible personality and strength records. Here is her account:

What steps are you taking to bring your dreams to life daily? Dreams won’t just fall into your lap.

You will have to put in more effort than you ever thought, but if you are passionate and persistent enough, the task will be rewarding and tough, with constant surprises.

Biography

Poor habits

Abbott Christmas was born in December 1981. She had a typical upbringing and was always joyful and energetic as she grew up. But when she and her older sister were involved in a vehicle accident, everything changed.

When she was 13 years old, Christmas witnessed her sister’s accident-related injuries causing her to go into a coma.

Christmas, who had been devastated by the incident, began to smoke and drink frequently to block out reality.

By the time she turned 15, Christmas had made these unhealthy behaviors a routine. Until she turned 22 years old, this way of life persisted for almost ten years.

Everyday alcohol consumption and cigarette smoking hurt Christmas’ physical and mental health. She described her poor behaviors as follows: “I was in awful shape.

I have nearly a decade of seriously harming my body. “It was horrible to me,” she continued. I was unable to run a mile when I was 22 years old, and it took me a week to recover afterward. Abbott, Christmas

Her Way of Life is Being Changed

Christmas reached the age of 22 before deciding she had “had enough” of her destructive lifestyle. She decided to go to Iraq’s Green Zone as a civilian contractor, following in her mother’s footsteps.

She claimed that she viewed this as a chance to permanently quit smoking and drinking.

The worst, according to Christmas, was her first month in Iraq. Near the camp where she was sent, there was fighting going on between the two opposing forces in Iraq.

She gained important knowledge about the value of life and health during this time.

Soon after, she started exercising and running with other contractors to get healthy again. Christmas changed her lifestyle and worked arduously to meet her fitness objectives. She went back to the United States at the age of 26.

CrossFit Results

Christmas learned about CrossFit after viewing a TV commercial. She was inspired to try CrossFit after being mesmerized by the physiques in the advertisement.

She quickly advanced and eventually joined CrossFit Invoke in North Carolina, where she joined the CrossFit Headquarters Staff.

As a result, she decided to start her gym and began teaching various CrossFit and strength training regimens.

Christmas started coaching and training full-time after being so fascinated by the sport.

She then decided to launch her social media accounts and began sharing images of the achievements of her prior clients. On the internet as a whole, this received a lot of attention.

Participation in NASCAR

Christmas worked on a NASCAR pit crew while she was learning CrossFit. Along with CrossFit, this was one of her other interests. Her duty as a crew member was to change the tires on Clint Boyer’s vehicle.

Christmas’ presence in NASCAR made her the first woman in the history of motorsport to work on the Sprint Cup pit crew.

Regarding her NASCAR career, Christmas stated, “I love, adore hanging tires. One of the most amazing things I’ve found is the challenge; it’s wonderful. Abbott, Christmas

Training

Combination Exercises

The foundation of Christmas workouts consists of compound movements. Squats, clean and jerks, deadlifts, benches, and pull-ups are a few of these.

In the gym, she occasionally performs individual workouts, but for the most part, she sticks to challenging compound lifts. She gets the ideal amount of growth and strength in this manner.

Christmas noted that CrossFitters should take special note of this.

She asserts that performing compound lifts gives her an advantage over her rivals in CrossFit strength competitions.

Christmas enjoys running for cardio, whether it is outside or on a treadmill.

“That bikini body doesn’t happen in the summer, it happens in the winter months. Take today to continue to move forward with your goals and aspirations.”

Nutrition

Breakfast And Cheat Meals

Christmas has a rather straightforward dieting schedule.

Every morning she eats the same breakfast of peanut butter, eggs, and an apple. One of the greatest mixtures of protein, simple carbs, and lipids, in her opinion.

Her preferred treat food is custard-filled cupcakes.
