Biography

Joining The Royal Marines

David was born and reared in Wigan, Northern England, where he developed a love for physical activity through playing football and rugby every week.

Being a member of the Royal Marine Commando, one of the best-trained units in the British armed services, was his lifelong desire.

David was motivated by this goal to use his senior year of high school to get in fit for basic training. The 32-week “punishing” training program included both physical endurance and mental toughness drills.

He was successful in winning over his officers and finishing the course to become a full-fledged Royal Marine.

David’s new job as a highly trained soldier began when he was only 16 years old and was awarded his “green beret.” He continued to serve and loved every minute of it in places like Northern Ireland, Somalia, Afghanistan, and the Persian Gulf.

Private Security and Gladiators at Work

David left the marines with a strong love of exercise and a great body thanks to the strength training he underwent. He searched British television game shows for openings because he wanted a career that would allow him to keep active and in shape.
