Biography

Short Career of Henri-Pierre Ano Henri-Pierre Ano

In Montreal, Quebec, Henri-Pierre Ano was born and raised. Henri has always been a vivacious person. He enjoyed trying out new sports, both those his school-sponsored and those that were extracurricular, like hockey.

Henri’s attention was more “captivated” by hockey. He was so devoted to playing ice hockey that he eventually gave up all other sports so he could spend more time on the ice playing his favorite contact-team sport.

Henri quickly became the core of his hockey squad after putting up outstanding performances in games. But more than simply his performances set him apart from the competition.

Henri has been active for years and has progressively developed an incredible physique. His teammates were aware of this and started complimenting him on his muscular appearance.

Henri had a lot of potential for bodybuilding and was frequently pushed by his buddies to lift weights, but he never seriously contemplated taking up the “iron” sport.

The first time Henry became interested in weight training was at the age of 25, 11 years after he began playing hockey.

Henri entered the gym for the first time with no prior experience and quickly understood that weightlifting was what he was always intended to do. According to him;

“I was bitten by that bug right away. I competed in my first show, a regional, in 2007 [a year later], and I won it all!

His athletic career was now merely a “distant memory,” as he was now focused on developing a successful bodybuilding profession.

Improvements In BodybuildingHenri-Pierre Ano

Henri decided to accept a greater challenge after participating in amateur competitions for several years. He then moved on to the Open bodybuilding division, which featured all of the aspiring pro-bodybuilders.

Over the following few months, Henri significantly enhanced his body with the assistance of IFBB Pro Larry Vinette. He subsequently decided to enter the 2012 Canadian Nationals to showcase his new body.

Henri’s top 10 finish fell short of his expectations. But he persisted in trying. Together with his coach Larry, he persisted in putting in a lot of effort, determined to claim his long-awaited Pro Card the following season.

Henri worked hard, and it showed. Henri-Pierre Ano won the title of Canadian National Champion in the summer of 2013, obtaining his professional card in the process.

Training

Back Exercise

Henri’s main objective when working on his back is to widen his lats. Henri chooses moderate weights so he can regulate the movement with an excellent form to do.

Henri frequently affirms that his objective is not to lift the most weight feasible. He feels that a strong “mind-muscle link,” which is more significant than weight for muscle growth, should be the focus instead.

Henri typically starts his back exercises with pull-ups.

Henri enjoys performing this workout because it exercises practically all of his back muscles. Pull-ups completed, Henri moves on to isolated exercises, performing 12–16 reps per set.

Here is a picture of his full-back exercise;

  • 4-5 sets of 6-8 reps of pull-ups
  • Dumbbell with one arm Row: 3–4 sets, 10–12 repetitions.
  • 4 sets of 14–16 repetitions on the seated cable row
  • Close-grip 3 sets of 10–12 repetitions on the pulldown
  • Stiff-arm 3 sets of 12–15 repetitions on the pulldown
  • 3 sets of 15 repetitions for face-pulls

Routine of Henri-Pierre Ano’s Entire Workout

Henri practices “4 days on, 1 day off” training. Here’s how it appears;

  • Third-Day: Morning Shoulders, Evening Shoulders
  • Day Four: Morning Hamstrings, Calves, and Abs
  • (Repeat after one day of relaxation)

Nutrition (Workout)

Henri eats a nutritious diet made up of lean proteins, slow-releasing carbs, and good fats. His preferred diets for gaining muscle include;

  • Fish
  • Chicken
  • Spinach
  • Broccoli
  • Dark Rice
  • Yummy potatoes
  • Avocados
  • Bananas

Henri will typically consume a balanced diet that is clean, wholesome, and unprocessed. He will occasionally indulge in a less wholesome meal though. This aids in his mental “recharging” for the coming days of dieting.
