How do Buttery Spritz Cookies work?

- Bake until aromatic and the edges are just browned. on a wire rack to cool.

No Cookie Press? No issue! Roll out the dough and cut out round shapes with cookie cutters or a glass to make a spritz without using a cookie press.
Alternately, roll the dough into 1-inch balls and press it with anything with a pattern; the bottom of a glass can leave a lovely pattern.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter softened
- 1 ¼ cup powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon almond extract
- 2 ½ cups flour
Instructions
- Turn on the 375°F oven.
- Cream butter, granulated sugar, and salt in a mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Combine the egg, almond, and vanilla extracts.
- Add the flour gradually, beating after each addition.
