Who is Kirsty Botfield?

Kirsty Botfield had an early interest in a competitive lifestyle through discus throwing, track running, and dancing.

Since then, she has gained notoriety for her figure on the WBFF fitness modeling stage.

By the age of 16, Kirsty Botfield had developed a fascination for the incredible physiques of female wrestlers. Kirsty was motivated to begin lifting weights in the gym during this time.

Biography

Childhood Sports

In 1984, Kirsty was born in Sydney, Australia. She started dancing when she was 5 years old, and sports have dominated her life ever since.

Kirsty began competing in sports during her senior year of high school. She learned to maintain discipline, attention, and consistency in her training through activities like sprinting and discus throwing.

When Kirsty was 16 years old, she started to get motivated by the bodies of professional female wrestlers. Because of this, Kirsty started competing in professional wrestling alongside dancing to gain muscle mass and have a great body like her wrestling heroes.

Kirsty started taking her weight training seriously at this point. She continued working out regularly after that and soon began to see the results of her demanding exercises.

When she started her own business at the age of 18, she was finally able to turn her passion for dancing into a successful career.

Beginning To Compete

Kirsty took some time off from building her dance teaching career to travel across Europe. She consequently paid little, if any, attention to fitness, which hurt her levels of fitness.

Soon enough, Kirsty started to dislike how she looked as a result of this. Her diligent gym training had been for naught.

Kirsty realized that her travels had caused her to lose her sense of fitness at this point. Kirsty realized she had to make a difference after that.

Kirsty had been wanting to participate in a bodybuilding competition for a while, but she never had the time. Since that time, Kirsty has been determined to succeed in the bodybuilding stage.

At this time, Kirsty started working out with a personal trainer to get back in shape. She began focusing on winning as a bikini competitor after that, which gave her motivation to continue moving forward in her life.

Being A Fitness Model

In 2013, Kirsty started her career as a bikini competitor. Her debut contest was the 2013 IFBB NSW Championships, where she placed sixth in the bikini novice division.

At that point, Kirsty understood her potential in the bodybuilding scene. This served as her inspiration for her ensuing contest.

Kirsty kept up her rigorous training regimen to repeat her last competition’s success. In 2013, she competed in the INBA NSW Titles and dominated the bikini novice division, finishing in third place.
