The American actors Tisha Campbell Martin and Duane Martin are the parents of Xen Martin. Xen was given an autism diagnosis when he was 18 months old. Even though he was nonverbal at the time, his parents said he was never enrolled in a special needs class because they wanted him to emulate typical children.

Xen Martin is no longer autistic, though, and is now a typical 21-year-old. His mother, who rejoiced over his acceptance into the college he had always wanted to attend to pursue his aspirations of becoming a zoologist, has described him as a strong-willed individual.

Before Turning Two, Xen Martin’s Autism Was Identified.

Tisha Campbell and her ex-husband welcomed their first child, Xen Whaheed Martin, on August 8, 2009. He was 18 months old before his parents discovered he had autism. The ex-son couple’s Xen would never talk or be able to do anything on his own, the doctors informed them.

The actress’ son was given the diagnosis before his first birthday, and his parents, particularly his mother, are said to have been in denial about it at the time. However, with the love and support of his family, the young man has been able to overcome some obstacles as he matures. His mother reportedly retrained her brain to accept reality because she was so determined to help him.

To assist Xen, his parents had the help of other parents whose kids had autism. He performed exercises as bear crawls, medicine ball slams, mirror exercises, and other computer exercises to improve his body awareness.

Tisha’s son reportedly received an A in public speaking despite having been told he wouldn’t be able to speak. After he completed high school in 2020, his parents posted pictures of themselves being happy on Instagram.

The 21-year-old was already working two jobs before he graduated from high school, despite the obstacles that the developmental disorder can cause. He did this because he desired financial independence. In addition to excelling in his academic endeavors, Xen also has a YouTube channel with over 300k subscribers where he shares videos.

The former couple Tisha and Duane have other children besides Xen Martins. Ezekiel Czar Martin, his younger brother, was born on September 8, 2009, and he is now 13 years old.

After Xen Was born, His Mother Admitted That She Thought Something Was Wrong With Him.

According to Tisha Campbell, the increase in autism may have been significantly influenced by vaccinations. She argued that while she is not pro-vaccination, she safely is in favor of vaccination. The actress claimed that after her son was born, right after he received the Hepatitis B shot, she noticed something different, and even though she reported it, it was ignored because she was a “new mom,” even though she was a “new mom,” she claimed.

Colored My Mind Was Co-Founded by Xen Martins’ Mother

Tisha Campbell founded the non-profit organization Colored My Mind after becoming inspired by her friend’s advocacy for people with autism. The group’s mission is to increase understanding of autism. However, even though he never actually played in the NBA, Xen Martin’s father Duane started a career in entertainment after he stopped playing basketball. Tisha successfully raised their son who has autism, and in February 2018, she requested a divorce. Martin’s parents divorced by the time he turned 17 in December 2020.
