Who is Lukáš Osladil?

Prague-based Lukáš Osladil competes as a professional bodybuilder (Czech Republic.) He was successful in his professional debut at the 2012 Toronto Pro, and he later easily captured the prestigious Europa Phoenix Pro championship.

Biography of Lukáš Osladil

Young Years

When Lukas was only ten years old, he experienced his first taste of bodybuilding. He claims to have lifted anything at his home in Prague, the Czech Republic, where he was raised.

In addition to using furniture as a barbell, he also employed a broom pole that had dumbbell weights connected to it.

When he was 13 years old, Lukas started coming to the gym with his brother and fell in love with it all right away.

After hiring a local instructor who taught him some fundamental moves, he entered the young Lukas in a nearby contest. He was proud of himself for placing a respectable fourth in this contest.

Military Service

Lukáš Osladil was getting ready for the Junior Championships of Moravia in 2000 when he received a call to report for his conscription. He had to go through military training, but he still found time to work out in his spare time to be ready for the show.

He was posing at the Moravia exhibition three days after his stint in the service was up, coming in second. To one day apply these skills to assist others in becoming in shape, he started studying personal training in 2003 at Petr Stach’s coaching academy.

Adult contests

In 2004, Lukas decided to participate at the senior level and chose to take bodybuilding seriously. He won his first contest in the Championship of Northern Bohemia and then earned another first-place trophy at the Championships of the Czech Republic.

He was able to earn a spot in the European Championship the following year with a victory at the Czech Republic Championships. At this tournament, he “surprised” himself by winning the 87.5 kg and 82.5 kg categories.

A standout performance for Lukas was his sixth-place finish at the Petrotrans Elit tournament in Lithuania. He performed in this show while posing to the song “Summer” from Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, which he adored.

In 2011, Lukas accomplished a lot, including placing second at the Arnold Classic Amateur in Columbus. This outcome gave him the assurance he required to make an effort to obtain his Pro Card.

Trying to Get a Pro Card

Lukas decided to attempt to win the London Olympia Amateur. He finished a solid second in the under 90 kg division, but he was still looking for more.

Fortunately, his undisputed triumph at the 2005 European Championship allowed him to apply to play professionally.

He was approved as a professional, and the 2012 IFBB Toronto Pro Supershow served as his debut performance. At this competition, he was successful in winning first place, which helped him establish himself in the professional rankings.

Competing In The Open Category

The EVLS Prague Pro was his debut event in the open division, where he finished eighth. He won the biggest competition of his career two weeks later.

By winning the Europa Phoenix Pro, he qualified directly for the 2016 Mr. Olympia. An important turning point in Lukas’ career was this triumph. At the 2016 Olympia, he demonstrated his ability to compete on the same stage as the greatest in the world.

He finished last since the triumph wasn’t meant to be at this show, but he had a great time anyhow.

Long and Heavy Sessions

When Lukas works out, he concentrates on challenging exercises that tax his body to the maximum. He works five different body parts each workout, beginning with the abs, and often spends an hour and a half working out each day.

He claims that he performs six sets of exercises when working out the triceps, biceps, and calves. He performs 14 sets when working out the larger muscles like the back and chest.

Three Primary Leg Exercises

Only three exercises—the squat, lunge, and leg press—are used by Lukas to increase the muscle mass in his legs.

He claims that these movements promote an anabolic condition in the body that enhances all of his other workouts and aids in the rapid development of lean muscle building.


Lukas claims that he completely ignored cardio when he was younger. He started including aerobics every morning for 20 minutes to jump-start his metabolism as a bodybuilder who was learning more.


Low-Carb Pre-Contest Diet

Throughout his pre-contest time, Lukas adheres to a low-carb diet. Lukáš Osladil begins the diet three to four months before a performance and calculates exactly how many calories he needs to consume daily before creating a food plan.

Just a few weeks later, he switches from a very low carbohydrate diet to a very high carbohydrate and protein diet. For a few days, he doesn’t drink any water, which allows his muscles to be visible through his skin.

Post-Workout Nutrition

I don’t follow a diet all year long since that would make my life monotonous.

When Lukas is not getting ready for a competition, his diet is concentrated on preserving or increasing muscular mass. He incorporates carbohydrates into his diet as a result to fuel his efforts.

He includes a protein smoothie and some fast carbs with vitamins just after a workout. He eats a substantial lunch of lean meat, rice, and broccoli when he gets home.

Nutritional Guidelines for Novices

In terms of dietary recommendations, Lukas advises novices to skip supplements for the first year and concentrate on creating a healthy bodybuilding food plan.
