Early Years and Journey’s Beginning

Lyzabeth Lopez, a native of Toronto, Canada, has always been passionate about physical exercise. She was influenced by muscle mags at a young age and looked up to Rachel McLish. In 1993, she started weightlifting to get a toned physique.

Lyzabeth started her fitness career at the age of 12.

Beginning a Fitness Journey

Lyzabeth was the lone girl who used the gym in high school. But she received a ton of encouragement and form assistance from the football players at her school.

In 1997, Lyzabeth had molded a beautiful body at the age of 16. She started instructing gymnastics and aerobics while constantly working on her physique.

“Getting in shape should be a process that you go on to learn from, participate in, and enjoy.”

Inaugural Competition

Lyzabeth had sculpted a striking figure by 1999. She made her WNSO debut in 1999 and was pleased with her development.

She started building a reputation for herself in the field when she was 18 years old.

By 2008, when Lyzabeth was 27 years old and nearly ten years older, she had participated in several tournaments. She had grown into a seasoned athlete and a well-known name in the field.

She started her training business that year to assist others in achieving their ideal physiques. 2016 saw her teach over 2000 people and establish herself as a fitness icon.

“My training strategy changes depending on what my current aim is. If I’m show training, I might work out for up to three hours at the gym, performing HIIT, heavy lifting, shaping exercises, etc. I like cross-training and don’t plan my workouts at all when I’m not competing.

Lyzabeth has never had a regular exercise schedule. When she walks into the gym, she always works on the areas she believes need improvement, changing things up to make her sessions interesting.

She enjoys working out with kettlebells, weight machines, aerobic equipment, and Pilates equipment. Her preferred workouts include deadlifts, Pilates single-leg stretches with ankle weights, and Stairmaster or treadmill cardio.
