Biography

Maggie Corso

Beginnings of Fitness

Maggie Corso was born in New Jersey in 1969, and she has since resided there. She was always quite interested in the physiques of gymnasts. Maggie was determined to develop an athletic figure like her fellow gymnasts.

Maggie didn’t know where to begin though. She turned to one of her school teachers for advice at this point. They introduced Maggie to weightlifting, and ever since, she has been deeply passionate about the sport.

Maggie was committed to developing a fantastic physique after learning about bodybuilding. She exercised five days a week, often participating in sports like weightlifting and running.

Maggie made sure to schedule exercise alongside her part-time education and job working in a bank when she graduated from high school.

She quickly discovered, though, that her busy lifestyle prevented her from achieving her fitness goals.

Losing Sight Of Fitness

Maggie always believed she could carve out her path in life. As a result, she started concentrating on developing her life outside of bodybuilding. As a result, by the time she was in her 30s, she had almost completely lost interest in fitness.

Then, though, things started to go south. She had preterm labor during her first pregnancy.

She spent a considerable amount of time in the hospital as a result, rendering her unable to stand on her own.

Maggie put on a significant amount of weight during this period. She had worked very hard in the gym to prepare for this, but it had all been for nothing.

Maggie’s days in fitness were long gone by the time she gave birth to her second kid.

She concluded that she needed to change at this point. Her pursuit of fitness was re-ignited after that.

Changing Things

Maggie remembered that she was in the worst shape of her life when she was in her 40s. She had prioritized her job and her motherly responsibilities for the ten years leading up to her 40th birthday.

Maggie had lost her fit body as a result. She was, however, now resolved to regain her fitness. She was inspired by the fitness models who graced the covers of international fitness publications.

She didn’t let the fact that many of the models were much younger than her deter her from achieving her objectives. She worked hard at the gym to get back into shape after establishing a life outside of fitness.

Maggie wants to go forward after having made significant improvements.

But a close friend of Maggie’s warned her that due to her advanced age, the deck was stacked against her. She then set out to disprove her, turning to the bodybuilding stage to do it.

Competition Background

Maggie was adamant about advancing her fitness profession. She competed in the 2012 INBF Mr. America Championships to accomplish this.

She finished in first place at the competition and was able to obtain her WNBF Pro Card on her first try as a result of her diligence and perseverance.

She then started to ignore her detractors to advance in her fitness career. Just two months later, Maggie competed again and was able to duplicate her initial victory, taking first place at the 2013 NPC Garden State.

Maggie was looking for a new challenge because her bodybuilding career had been successful. She then decided that obtaining her IFBB Pro Card would be her next objective.

She was able to place first at the NPC Muscle Beach competition in 2014 shortly after, demonstrating that she was capable of more.

“I adore her robust, athletic appearance. Her appearance on the cover of Oxygen Magazine served as my inspiration to work toward the physique I currently possess.

However, Maggie adds that it was her tenacity that helped her to advance continuously in her career in fitness:

“I’d say I’m more motivated than disciplined. Motivation might change over time. I would continue to be overweight and out of shape if I relied solely on motivation.
