Ingredients
- 1 pound cooked shrimp peeled and deveined
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice about two lemons
- ¼ cup fresh lime juice about 3 limes
- ½ cup fresh squeezed orange juice
- 4 whole plum tomatoes seeds were removed and diced
- 2 whole jalapeno peppers seeds and vein removed, minced
- 1 cup jicama diced or diced peeled apple
- ½ cup fresh cilantro chopped
- ¼ cup red onion finely chopped
- 1 avocado pitted and diced
- kosher salt and fresh ground pepper
Instructions
- Put the shrimp in a basin after chopping it into pieces measuring 1/2 inch. Place aside.
- Juice from the lemon, lime, and orange should be combined in a small basin. Sprinkle the shrimp with 1/2 cup of citrus juice and toss to mix. 15 minutes should be given for the shrimp to marinate in the liquid.
- To the shrimp, add the tomato, jalapeno, jicama (or apple), cilantro, and red onion. After mixing the ingredients, give them 10 more minutes to marinate. Add the avocado and the leftover liquids and stir.
