Making Chicken Breading

CHICKEN:

Boneless chicken thighs or breasts work great with this dish. To ensure that the pieces cook at the same rate, choose skinless chicken that is around the same size.

BREADING

  • The extra-crisp Panko bread crumbs give the breading some bite. Panko, a Japanese bread crumb, can be found online, in stores that sell Asian foods, or alongside the other breadcrumbs.
  • Due to their flavor and compact size, seasoned bread crumbs are ideal for an even breading. For flavor, we add a few extra spices.
  • The chicken can be coated with flour to help the crumbs adhere (simply roll in flour, shake off the excess, and then dip in egg).

Once they’re cooked, experiment with adding other spices like Cajun flavor, taco seasoning, or Buffalo sauce!

How to Bake Chicken with Breading?

  1. Prepare the egg and flour by whisking the egg in one bowl and the flour and seasonings in another.
  2. Combine breadcrumbs – In a small pan, combine Panko breadcrumbs and seasoned breadcrumbs.
  3. Chicken should be breaded by first being dipped in flour, shaken off, then dipping in egg mixture, followed by breadcrumbs.
  4. Bake chicken breasts in the oven (per the recipe below).

How to Prepare Breaded Chicken?

  • To ensure that the coatings stick well, make sure to pat the chicken dry.
  • To completely cover the meat, press the breadcrumbs into it.
  • Spray the crumbs well with cooking or olive oil spray to help them color evenly.
  • The chicken should not be overbaked because it will continue to cook after being removed from the oven.
  • Before slicing, let the chicken pieces cool for about five minutes.

How to Serve Chicken with Breading

  • Salads like a homemade Caesar salad or even an Asian salad taste excellent with chicken.
  • For a delicious sandwich, toast a few hamburger buns and top them with tomato, honey mustard, and shredded lettuce.
  • Make a batch of the fluffiest waffles you’ve ever had and top them with butter and maple syrup.
  • Why not use the leftovers to make some Chicken Parmesan for dinner?

Storing
