EastEnders star Martine McCutcheon has an enviable body. She is talented and gorgeous. Recently, she shared the secrets about her diet and what she does to remain active and fit.

EastEnders star Martine McCutcheon has a beautiful and charming body and personality. How does she manage to keep fit and slim? She has one child and often posts pics of herself on her Instagram. Her fans are full of admiration for her and praise her social media photos. Martine spoke about it in detail recently. She shared with her fans about her diet and exercise plan daily.
Martine explained:
“With every meal I make sure to have loads of fruit and veg, not too much dairy not too much red meat,”
She added:
“When you’re doing that daily, you’re allowing yourself that little bit of space where you can have the freedom to still have a little bit of what you fancy.”
Martine’s exercise schedule
Martine also gave an insight into her daily exercise regime. She prefers walking over gym to remain active and fit. Martine said:
“For me, it’s a gentle 20-min walk every day.”
She told Closer magazine:
“Walking in nature helps me mentally. It sets me up with the right tone of the day and physically helps with my ME and fibromyalgia,”
It was in 2011 that doctors diagnosed ME in Martine. She is now 46. This disease is also called chronic fatigue syndrome. It is an incurable and long term condition with symptoms such as aches and pains in muscles and tissues and tiredness. Sore throat is also present in many people.
Martine’s ME last year
Martine had told Hello magazine earlier about how her illness troubled her last year. She revealed:
“I look at it that when I get symptoms or when my body starts clanging, it’s a sign for me to pace myself, rest.”
Further she continued:
“So, yeah, I’ve definitely learned to look at it as a good messenger rather than something that simply gets in the way.”
Martine has a great going career. But she disclosed that she had turned several role offers. This was for the simple reason that for her and her husband Jack McManus family counts first. Both are keen to spend quality time with their son Rafferty who is now 7.
Martine also does not want to overexert considering her illness can worsen with it. Additionally, she recently lost her young brother called Laurence John or LJ. He died suddenly at a young age of 31 years. The cause of death was not known. There was no medical explanation for the premature death.
Sharing the sad news on her Instagram, she had written:
“My heart is forever broken. My baby brother, my gentle giant, sadly passed away, suddenly, 2 weeks ago. He was 31 years old.”

His death came just one month before his scheduled marriage. Martine was supposed to be his bridesmaid on the occasion. He had even got his wedding suit ready for it.
