The actor and his first wife, Krista Newmann, whom Scott Bakula wed in 1981, are the parents of Chelsy and Cody.
The former couple’s daughter Chelsy is their biological child, but Cody joined the Bakula family in 1991 after being adopted.

Cody, Scott’s son, is believed to have been born in 1991, not long before Scott was adopted.
He attended the Gemological Institute of America before graduating from Hamilton High School Academy of Music.
Cody worked in the sales division at Lucy Zahran & Co., a Los Angeles-based jewelry store, at some point, though nothing specific about his profession is known.

He is a musician working with vocalist Katy Ohsiek in the Portland-based duet Fanboy.
The band, which was founded in 2020, issued My Sober Daydream as its debut album in 2021.
Before the album’s release, Wil and Ohsiek collaborated on two albums and numerous performances in basements, pubs, and festivals as part of the experimental singing ensemble Chromatic Colors.
Last but not least, Scott’s youngest child Owen is a non-binary professional dancer, singer, actor, and model.
