Miley was a vegan before
The singer used to advocate plant based foods and is an animal lover. And her favorite vegan foods were avocado sushi rolls and veggie tofu stir fry.

But she started listening to her body needs. And realized that mere plant based foods were not enough for her. In 2020, Miley was on the show Joe Rogan Experience. And she revealed about suffering from brain fog and severe joint pain due to veganism. Hence, in 2019, she gave up the practice. And Miley revealed that after introducing fish into her diet, she feels sharper. She has said:
‘I was vegan for a very long time and I’ve had to introduce fish and omegas into my life because my brain wasn’t functioning properly,’

Dolly Parton is the godmother of Miley. She had told Insider:
‘Miley and I both love Southern food, like mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and a big ol’ hunk of cornbread — making cornbread muffins or a big pan of it with the squares,’
Dolly added that Miley eats less these days and has become picky of foods. Hence Dolly cooks less for her. Further, she revealed:
‘Miley’s trying to watch what she eats now — she’s gone through a lot of phases of being vegetarian or being vegan or whatever,’
‘But in the earlier days, or when her defences are down, we still eat that good ol’ food like meatloaf.’

Miley had struggled with alcohol addiction. But she overcame it and since 2020 is sober. In June 2020, she had said:
‘I’ve been sober sober for the past six months. At the beginning, it was just about this vocal surgery… It’s really hard, especially being [sober and] young, there’s that stigma of ‘you’re no fun’ [but] it’s like, “Honey, you can call me a lot of things, but I know that I’m fun”.’
There is likelihood of relapse
She had admitted:
‘I think everyone has to do what is best for them,’
‘I don’t have a problem with drinking, I have a problem with the decisions I make once I go past [a certain level]…I become very impulsive.’
