He is well renowned for his victories in prestigious bodybuilding contests, including the Miami-based World Bodybuilding Championships in 2016.

In his younger years, Nathan Williams played hockey competitively. From his early years to his senior year of high school, he participated extensively in the sport.

Although Nathan loved to play hockey, he was often annoyed by other players’ strengths and size advantages. Being competitive in a sport that needed size, strength, and balance became more and more challenging for Nathan.

Concerned about his predicament, Nathan concluded that weightlifting was the only practical solution.

He started reading bodybuilding publications for hours at a time and consulting knowledgeable lifters in his school to learn as much as he could about strength training.

With this new information at his disposal, Nathan quickly began going to the gym. Over the months, he was able to grow dramatically in size and strength; by his junior year of high school, he had put on over 15 pounds.

His peers and coach took note of his improvement and recruited him for the varsity hockey team, where he eventually rose to the position of assistant captain.

Both Nathan’s days as a hockey player and his time at school came to an end. On the other hand, his enthusiasm for the “iron” only grew more intense.

Over the following few months, Nathan continued to exercise weights and added an extra 10 pounds of muscle. He achieved 150 pounds after four years of training, which is 40 pounds more than when he originally began.

Fully Involved With New Knowledge

Up until this point, Nathan’s bodybuilding journey had been going smoothly. But he soon had to take on his first obstacle.

Nathan discovered he was losing weight when he stepped on a scale the day after a workout. Nathan has lost a lot of weight despite his intense training.

“I felt angry, so I decided I needed to start counting calories,” he stated. I hadn’t been monitoring my food intake, but I soon understood that if I wanted to maintain my weight, I would need to eat more frequently and more food overall. Williams, Nathan

Nathan then began gaining as much knowledge as he could about nutrition. He learned that since junk food was impeding his growth, he needed to eliminate it from his diet. Instead, he added new things, such as lean meats, and veggies, to his diet.

Getting Off The Plateau

Along with eating better, Nathan started planning his meals ahead of time. Before transporting them to college, he would prepare chicken, rice, and vegetables, then pack them in Tupperware.

“I tried to consume 4,500 to 5,000 calories every day. That meant having five to six substantial, balanced meals per day and several protein shakes.

Nathan’s results quickly “skyrocketed” as a result of this new strategy. His body grew stronger and leaner, and he soon acquired the appearance.

Going One Step Further In His Career

Nathan was inspired by his development and decided to take on a new challenge by entering bodybuilding competitions.

As it happened, Nathan’s buddies participated in the BNBF’s competitive sports. They convinced him to participate in a contest that would take place in a few months.

Nathan says, “I had no idea what competitive bodybuilding was, so it was incredibly challenging. I believe that’s when bodybuilding found me and it went off from there. I just wanted to train to look the part.

Despite having little prior experience, Nathan won the first-place prize in his first competition. Following this show, he developed the “competitive bug.”

Increasing In Strength

Nathan chose to focus on getting ready for another concert that will be happening in a few weeks rather than celebrating his first triumph.

It was referred to as BNBF Central Qualifier. Nathan would advance to the finals and have a chance to win a Pro Card if he won this competition.

Nathan put everything he had into his preparations because he was fully aware of this. His perseverance ultimately paid off, as he won first place and advanced to the finals.

Getting A Pro

Nathan had little time to relax once he got home from the triumph. He immediately began getting ready for the BNBF Finals, which were coming up in a few weeks.

To produce the greatest physique possible, Nathan put a lot of effort into improving his weak points during the preparations. He also worked on his posing so that he could perform flawlessly on stage.

The day of the show soon arrived. In his strongest performance to date, Nathan took the stage and won first place, earning a pro card.

Professional Life

Nathan was aware of the greater competition he would now face having joined the professional circuit. He had to mix it up with some of the biggest names in bodybuilding at this point.

Nathan was inspired by the challenge and immediately began training for his next competition. Following some training, Nathan competed in his first professional event in the 2012 DFAC World Pro Finals, placing fourth.

Following the competition, Nathan concluded that to succeed on the Pro Circuit, he would need to build up his physique. He consequently decided to postpone competing till he accomplished his objective.

He also made use of this time off to advance his career and establish himself as a well-known personal trainer in the UK.

Comeback

The wait was then over after two years of arduous labor. Nathan was prepared to return to the sport of bodybuilding professionally.

He competed in the 2014 DFAC British Pro Grand Prix and looked better than ever when he entered the arena.

He ultimately won the competition, outperforming the other participants with his exceptional performance and physical preparation.

World’s Best Bodybuilder

Nathan took up his hardest task to date in 2016. He took a plane to Miami, where he competed in one of the biggest bodybuilding competitions in the world, the World Bodybuilding Championships.

Amazingly, Nathan once more astounded everyone by winning the competition. He has earned the title of World Bodybuilding Champion thanks to this triumph.

“I would have laughed if someone had told me that I would turn professional in my first year of competing as a junior, and four years later, I would win the world championship. That won’t likely ever truly register with me.

Training

Nathan’s Method Of Training

Five to six times a week, Nathan works out in the gym. He works out with aerobic, weightlifting, and mobility exercises.

He prefers to work out every body area twice a week to keep the muscles constantly stimulated.

6 to 12 reps per set are Nathan’s favorite rep range. Lower reps help him build more muscle while higher reps help him define his muscles.

Cardio Of Nathan Williams

Nathan will occasionally add a cardio session to help him lose fat, though, if he runs into a wall and doesn’t want to cut back on calories.

His two preferred forms of cardio are HIIT and low-intensity walks (High-Intensity-Interval Training).

Preferred Body Parts

The back and legs of Nathan’s body are his favorites. He takes particular pride in his quadriceps, which he was able to develop via perseverance and hard effort at the gym.

Nutrition

Diet For Contest Prep, (Fitness)

Nathan’s objective when dieting for a competition is to gradually shed weight while keeping his energy levels high. He increases the number of complex carbs in his diet to accomplish this.

A moderate amount of lean protein and healthy fats should also be included.

According to Nathan, “My diet consists of a load of carbohydrates to fuel my intense training sessions throughout my preparation and keep my muscle bellies looking full, a moderate protein intake to maintain as much muscle tissue, and enough fat to stop my brain from going doolally.”

Nathan usually eats whey protein-fortified porridge for breakfast. His other meals, which also include chicken, sweet potatoes, and green vegetables, are essentially identical. Nathan eats seven to nine meals per day, evenly spaced out.

Influences And Idols

The Rock is a major idol of Nathan’s. Nathan praised “the way he motivates others and just keeps it real” about The Rock.

Nathan respects Ronnie Coleman more than other bodybuilders. Ronnie is “simply untouchable – the GOAT,” in his words.

Vicky McCann, Nathan’s coach, and the female world bodybuilding champion has also had an impact on his life.
