Who is Rasmus Wisbech Andersen ?
Born in Odense, Denmark, and reared there. Rasmus Wisbech Andersen began participating in CrossFit in 2012 without having any prior athletic background.
He took the challenge head-on and began training like never before, hoping to better himself both physically and emotionally.
Early Life of Rasmus Wisbech Andersen
Less than a year later, Rasmus Wisbech Andersen competed for the first time at the Europe Regionals, placing 13th. He moved to San Diego, California, to join a CrossFit Invictus team after discovering his enthusiasm for CrossFit.
Since making the change, Rasmus has contributed to the team’s victory at the Affiliate Cup Championships in 2014 and made his mark by placing a respectable 25th at the 2016 CrossFit Games.

Training
Rasmus and other CrossFit competitors put in a ton of work. He’ll work out one to three times per day.
Exercises that maintain him in top shape for the CrossFit Games include weightlifting, fitness & conditioning, cardio, mobility drills, and other activities.
During Rasmus’ early-morning workouts, he uses heavy weights for technique drills and accessory work. He’ll primarily use the clean and jerk, front squat, and deadlift. Push press and drop snatch.
Rasmus will also do gymnastics and stretch frequently to maintain his flexibility and prevent injuries.
Nutrition
Rasmus Wisbech Andersen primarily consumes a diet high in protein, but he will also include carbohydrates and fats as necessary.
He consumes most of his carbs in the morning and after exercise. By doing this, he increases his insulin response and stops any carbs from turning into body fat.
He doesn’t place excessive restrictions on himself and eats whenever he can. When Rasmus trains for CrossFit for several hours each day, it’s essential to maintain his calorie high.
His diet will be made up of a lot of lean proteins throughout the day, some healthy fats, and slow-acting carbohydrates. However, he won’t hold back if he feels like eating a burger or some ice cream.
