  • 1 lemon
  • 3 ginger ½″ slices, fresh
  • 25 mint leaves
  • 4-6 cups of ice
  • water add more or less to taste

  1. Slice the cucumbers and fruit.
  2. Layer the ingredients and ice in a big container or drink dispenser. Add cold water to the gallon mark.
  3. Ideally, steep for 45 minutes.
  4. Enjoy!

Notes

  1. In the fridge, detox water can keep for up to three days.
  2. You can keep filling the jug as you drink water until you notice that the flavoring is no longer present.
  3. Orange, lemon, and lime peels can turn bitter if left on too long, so we frequently remove them at the end of the day (rather than overnight). If you leave them for a longer period, the water is still safe to drink, but the peels may impart a slight bitterness.
