Short Career Of Sam Watt
Sam Watt was a fiercely competitive kid growing up. He participated in sports like football, rugby, cycling, weightlifting, and athletics.
He had a deep grasp of how his body functioned as a result of his early involvement in sports and fitness, and he wanted to use this information to aid others in achieving their fitness goals.
Since then, he has made his love of exercise a full-time profession. He currently routinely competes in bodybuilding competitions and helps others in the UK get stronger and healthier.
Sam took home the UKDFBA Overall crown in 2016. He received his eagerly awaited Pro Card thanks to the victory.
“I can’t lie, when I compete, I don’t do it just to be my best. I also am desperate to win every show I compete in, although, I will be gracious if I don’t hit that top placing. Always reach for as high as possible.”

“Bodybuilders, in general, don’t post side shots unless it’s side triceps or biceps. I do like a good mandatory side shot though, as it can reveal a lot about the physique – symmetry, conditioning, stomach/waist size, glute development, overall side thicknesses, and muscularity.”
Training
Sam doesn’t do a lot of cardio during the off-season. But when he’s getting ready for a tournament, that changes. He will perform up to three 20-minute cardio sessions each week during those stages.
Nutrition
Sam Watt consumes 4,300 calories per day in the off-season, including 300 grams of protein, 430 grams of carbohydrates, and 170 grams of fat.
He claims that he was able to add about 5 kilograms of lean muscle in just 7 months thanks to this diet and his rigorous workout.
Sam Watt will reduce his calorie intake to 4000 calories four weeks before a tournament.
To some, this may still seem like a lot, but Sam needs a lot of high-quality nutrients to maintain his strong muscle mass because of his large physique and towering stature.
Sam Watt consumes most of his macronutrients from entire foods. But he loves to add a decent whey protein or a protein blend powder to his healthy diet as a supplement.
