How to make a Frito Salad
The ingredients in a taco salad are the same as those in a traditional ground beef taco, except they are placed over a bed of lettuce as opposed to inside a taco shell.
Prepare individual salads or set up a Frito taco salad bar so that guests may create their own! Set up the foundation and let everyone pick their preferred dressing and toppings!
- Iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheddar, and Fritos corn chips make up the base.
- Dressing: blue cheese dressing, avocado dressing, Catalina dressing, buttermilk ranch dressing, or salsa.
- Add-Ins: lime wedges, sour cream, guacamole, green chiles, jalapenos, peppers, onions, and black olives.
